Entrance Preview

I took the VITEEE. My rank was 16k. I was allotted a seat in the first phase of counseling itself. I opted for this college as it is one of the best private institutions in India.

Course Curriculum Overview

The system is followed here. It means u have to choose teachers on your own and the time table as u want. My branch here is mechanical engineering and various courses such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, CAD-CAM, SOM, Materials, etc.

Internships Opportunities

Since I am in the second year I've not experienced internship yet but as the seniors are doing it I know that Many big companies such as Tata, L, and T, ford, etc visit here and take students for internship.

Placement Experience

Placements here are one of the finest among all the colleges in India. In the CSE department placement is almost 100% and the average goes around 4.5 LPA. The highest offer this time went around 20 LPA.

College Events

Technical fest Gravitas Cultural fest Riviera Many colleges participate in these and various events are held. Pro shows are there in which big celebrities perform. These fests are generally 3-4 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends on the rank u get For 1-20k - 1.5 lacks Tuition fee only for 20k-30k 2.5 lacks 30k-40k 3.5 lacks till then all the seats are filled.

Campus Life

These facilities are also great herbs are good with the latest equipment for sports we have basketball courts, lawn tennis courts, hockey ground, football field, cricket ground, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels are great and I won't hesitate to say that they might be the best in India. Coming to mess food as I'm from north India Delhi I don't like the food but after a year it just started to be normal.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The ragging here is strictly prohibited and actions are taken if found guilty. This helps in having a better Connection with the seniors. Seniors are very helpful and since everyone here is from different parts of India everyone lives like a family.

Exam Structure

The 100 marks are divided as follows 30 marks 2 CATs held in between the semester 15 marks each 20 marks PBL i.e. project-based learning 50 marks term ends.

Faculty

The best thing here is the facilities and the infrastructure. The facilities have a thorough knowledge of their subject and know well how to teach. Most of them are Ph. Ds and the ones that are not are currently pursuing it.

DRNGPIT is a tough gig to survive!!

Campus placements happens and happens usually from September to December. Every student's are asked to appear for the interview rounds and these opportunities are provided to us in our second last semester. Mostly all are placed before the final semester of theirs.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, students are allowed to attend the placement. Many companies are visiting our college for example cadens, mistral, tessolve, vvdn, and for software TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, CTS, HCL etc. The highest average pack for a student in our college is 12 lakh per annum. You know everyone first priority would be going into the iits or nits if you won't get a seat there you search deemed to be colleges like vit amity , I choose vit as my college over iiit sri city which I got seat in it because vit has more exposure than iiit sricity and the main choosing vit was you get good college life with a beautiful campus, the people surrounded in vit are more better and knowledable compared to other colleges like amity, amrita,satyabamma and I aslo thought of going into amity and but I am that I am in vit I think it's better in every corner from that as per placements, college life and even faculty .
