Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would rate the course curriculum at VIT Bhopal College as highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers important subjects clearly and helps students gain both theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed for their future careers. The curriculum at VIT Bhopal College is industry-oriented and includes practical learning, projects, and updated subjects, which influenced my decision to choose this course.Exams are conducted regularly with mid-semester and end-semester exams. The difficulty level is moderate, testing both understanding and practical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship program here is quite simple if you have a general knowledge about any of your favourite language. You can also get an internship offer in your 2nd year if you are really good in any computer language amd internships are probably done to learn and gain experience so they will help you in many ways to achieve your goals also the stipend of the internship lies between 8000? to 25000? per month. It depends on where you work and how you work.

Placement Experience

3

College provides a better placement ratio comparing to many other private engineering colleges cause it has a centralised placement system and students of same batch from all the 4 campuses come at a place and give interview and get placed on their luck and talent. Also this college provides you an off campus placement system so if u want to grind harder and get a good placement u can prefer for offline campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

They conduct an exam and by the exam they filter out Students by the rank and those who had god a rank of <100 are probably considered as free admissions. Also my rank was around 50k and i had only 2 options to choose either VIT AP or VIT Bhopal,i preferred VIT Bhopal and my course is CSE(AIML) in category 1,there are total 5 categories in which students of category 2 pays a fee of 307000 and as the category increases the fee increases. This is a simple and brief brochure of tution fees paid by us. Hostel fee also varies in the same way as the facilities increases the fee increases.

Campus Life

4

Advitya – The annual cultural fest, usually held around February or March, filled with music, dance, competitions, and celebrity performances. Also the campus have its local clubs which helds many programs every week and they are actually fun and keeps you involved in everyway possible. It is also important to take part because of the credit system the campus have.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel rooms are available in double or triple sharing. Each room has a bed, study table, chair, cupboard, fan, lights, and Wi-Fi. Washrooms are common in every block and idk they even do clean those washrooms or not they are so smelly and unhygienic in general. You will definitely think twice before using the washroom but you will slowly get used to it. Meal Quality & Menu: The mess provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Both veg and non-veg options are available. Food quality is average and students specially did a protest for their stupid and B-grade food quality they buy fake test reports and prove them that have used best quality products for students. Even the water quality here is so bad. I started suffering from hairfall right after 2 months after i got into this college Hostel registration is done online through the VIT Bhopal portal after admission. Rooms are allotted based on availability. Fees depend on room type (AC or Non-AC) and are expensive than PG's or rentings If Renting a Room/PG: Some students rent rooms near Sehore or stay in Bhopal city or they can also live here in kothri but no facilities. Rent is affordable and slightly cheaper than colleges hostel's fee, and basic facilities like bed, Wi-Fi, and meals are provided. The locality is generally safe, but students usually go out in groups at night

Admission

I have not applied for any other colleges so i can't tell you about any other colleges i thought I'd get rank in a competitive exam so I was not bothered about taking admission in any other private college so this was basically my last option to choose.

Faculty

2

The exam system was quite complicated for me to understand at first but as time gone i slowly started understanding it. Students should prioritize their midterms exam most cause those marks are gonna decide your gpa. 30% from your midterms marks are added in your endterms paper. And this shows how important midterms are for us. Also the grading system depends on the faculty you've chosen if they are from blacklisted category you might not get your expected marks in any exam and also it depends on your luck and your hardwork

Night Life

2

Entry is generally regulated at night (often around 9–10 PM) Internal campus areas remain accessible to students, but security checks are active for safety. The campus has proper security and guards, making it safe inside but your can do whatever you want to do in your rooms but if you are caught the management will fine you at extremely high rates. You will find ciggerate buds everywhere in the garden near Boys block 1 and it's common for the security guards as well to encounter this scenes.

The placement and the package in this current year is less when compared to previous years. This is due to the more admissions in computer science field and more employees are there.the highest package is 12L/yr . 18% of students will get placed. My plan is to start private construction agency.
