- The first thing i like here is the infrastructure, it is really great. The classrooms here are excellent and modern. Most of the professors over here are knowledgeable and supportive.
- Second is the FFCS(Fully flexible credit system) which allows students to choose their own courses which they have to write in that particular semester. And it feels like you are the boss who decides which class to attend and at what time.
- Next thing is the Campus life and social interactions. Here you can see students from all corners of India even from other nearby countries. The exposure that you get here is really great and you can enjoy your campus life to your fullest.
Dislikes
- Things that i disliked at first was as a fresher you are not allowed to go out of the campus(as a hosteller) for first 3months without permission, but later i realised it is for our safety.
- The hostel rules might be strict with attendance and discipline and regular checkup will be there if they feel something suspicious about u.
- the tuition fees might feel a bit high and sometimes a burden to some families.

I applied for tnea college and got my seat allocated in normal private engineering colleges B.tech cse. I applied for 2nd round too and got my seat allocated in a normal safety college but beside these studying in int mtech in vit vellore is better than studying btech cse in normal private college. Admission procees is in two ways one is through entrance exam and another is through your boards.The most preffered course by students is cse and it sector courses.

I choose this college for its name and placement in I really want to go for a big brand college now otherwise I am getting from small colleges will no brand name you just call its name and also near to my house so that's the main 15 to me

- things like are the bachmates i got they are helping ,motivating the girl/boys ratio is 8/10 means if 100 boys are there then 80 girls are threre.
- the factulty and management are good and alows adorable so i liked them in my college.
- the infrastructure is very good and well managed i liked it.
Dislikes
- Things i disliked is the add on fess other than tution fees to be managed
- some times factulty also dont solve problems of students
- the conflicts of students some times i dont like it

i chose this college over the other colleges as because of affordability ican afford this college and its upto money college and the factulty and infrastructure are amazing campus and hostel are good. other colleges i applied is delhi university i got regected there and in lovely professional university igot delected but i choose this as placements are high here. admission is on basis of cat score cutoff is more than 60 in cat and other criteria .

- I liked the placements with top recruiters and good packages
- And also i enjoyed the campus life with cultures and clubs

- Negative one is like the food in hostel mess are not good
- Classes are more theory and not practicle manner
- And the outing rules only 2 hours in a day

I applied for 4 - 5 colleges and i got selected for the gurunanak college in chennai and i rejected that and i waited for Vit only 100 % placements .
60 percent in class 12th and no entrance exam for my course.

- The academics and extra curricular activites are upto the mark. The professors are well knowledgable and friendly.

- It can be a bit expensive to live here in Vellore. The weather is also pretty humid.

I choose VIT for the following reasons:
1. The ambience and the greenary of the campus . The campus is almost 372 acres which is a pretty decent size.
2. The safety of girl students. The intime is 7 pm and the hostel intime is 8:30 which enables safety of girls.
3. VIT has a good reputation with a variety of companies coming for placements.
4. Hands on experiance. There are many tech events that enable practical thinking .

- need to focuses more on giving equal opportunity to every category students

i always wanted to study in VIT only. because VIT is one of the top most ranked college in the country. also for the UG degree i wanted to spend less. according to all other colleges the fees are prtty much higher in other colleges. the total fee i spend on college is arunf 1.5 lakhs for 3 years but compared to other colleges where the fees will be arounf 500000. the eligibility for the addmission is 85% in the 12th grade. also specilisation in financial analytics.

First i got a good rank of 5000 in the written test in 2022 at that it was some what good rank although I got CSE in 2nd Category also I got 97.2 percentile In JEE Mains but I haven't opted for Counciling because I need only CSE

- The campus is very big and the classes have projectors, with which they teach through hybrid learning
- The faculty are all PHD holders and are very knowledgeable
- The campus is very green and huge, they have a foothpath with a shelter on top to give cover from the sun while walking far distances
Dislikes
- The campus is way too crowded and lot of time gets wasted in waiting for things, like printouts and using the elevators
- The men's hostel block is a bit far from the academic block, so usually everyone has to start at least 20 minutes to reach class in time
- The prices of food, goods, stationery, printouts and everything is subsidized but still costly, better to eat in mess than eat out
Admission:
I got into SRM, MIT Manipal, SNIST delhi NCR, and few top colleges from TS EAPCET. I chose this college due to its national brand and recruiter familiarity. I only faced rejections from colleges in JOSAA counselling and BITS, my entrance exams for those institutions did not go well. The only way to get admission to VIT vellore is through the VITEEE exam and VIT online counselling following it up. The cutoffs are disclosed.

- Ofcourse there is good girls boys ratio in the college compared to others colleges alomost 60:40
- The campus is very beautiful and there sports almost every sport for your choice you can play anytime and enjoy yourself
- The faculty are well experienced and there is also no attendance policy if you have 9+ cgpa which is too good
Dislikes
- The curriculum is quite old and follows the old age things I think there need to be change in it by adding the new age things upgrading yourself to modern techniques
- The social interactions between you and faculty is very less like they come and teach the subject is fine no interaction with student and they don't even any one of the names
- Live whiteboard learning is too bad they just come and say which is written on the ppt no proper explanation they don't care that student understand or not they just read the ppt slides

You know everyone first priority would be going into the iits or nits if you won't get a seat there you search deemed to be colleges like vit amity , I choose vit as my college over iiit sri city which I got seat in it because vit has more exposure than iiit sricity and the main choosing vit was you get good college life with a beautiful campus, the people surrounded in vit are more better and knowledable compared to other colleges like amity, amrita,satyabamma and I aslo thought of going into amity and but I am that I am in vit I think it's better in every corner from that as per placements, college life and even faculty . The eligibility to be in vit to the viteee exam and based on those marks you get a rank and you need to be counselling and upon your rank you get a seat and cat based your rank the fee is also decided

i applied for nit AP IIIT bhagalpur as i was getting these two college but they where lower college with low average pakage that's why i chose vit vellore
i got rejected in interview round of ugee because of some technical question asked in interview
a perso has to give VITEEE enterance exam to get in vit universsity and he/she should have minimum 60% in 12 board
most os the student choose computer science cutoff for cse in category 1 is 1500-2500 rank

What is the VITEEE cutoff to get admission to VIT Vellore for BTech CSE and BTech ECE?

Based on the previous year's cutoff and closing ranks, the cutoff rank for the CSE branch is 8,000 and the ECE branch is 16,000. VITEEE 2024 cutoffs will be published separately for each engineering branch. Candidates with a score of 118 or higher would most likely be put in the 1-250 range. Candidates with marks of less than 31 are predicted to secure a ranking of 20,000 or lower.
