- the college provides wide oppourtunities in the every field. by conducting events, seminars, international and industry visit summits. it takes care of academic and entertainment for both students as well as faculties
- campus is pretty huge and beautiful. the skies here is magnificient. greeney everywhere. perfect for an evening walk.
- engagement with faculties can be done without any hesitation because they are helpful and approacable. students are friendly as well. they help you with assignments, information and notes, and the placement history is obviously good.
Dislikes
- different illogical rules. vit is strict when it comes to the student's safety. they dont allow freshers to go out of the campus for 3 months. the in time is pretty soon
- festivals are not celebrated. they require permission to even celebrate friends birthdays. you have to write application for everthing
Admission:
I applied to a few colleges for Btech Biotechnology but I finally chose VIT, Vellore because it clearly stood out in terms of academic qualities, facilities, and career prospects. I applied to several universities including SRM University, manipal Institute of Technology., and a state government college. SRM confirmed my admission but I chose VIT because of its Biotechnology Reputation, state of the art labs, vibrant research environment and exposure to industry collaborations. manipal rejected my applications because the entrance exam rank was slightly lower below the closing rank that year and I believe competetion was too high there. The Admission process was smooth in VIT and transpaent with eligibility requiring completion of 12th grade physics, chemistry and biology ormaths and admission is based on its own entrance exam. after the exam results, counselling and seat allotment is done based on rank and course preference

- The girls to boy ratio is around 3:1 for boys and girls respectively
- The package is around 3-5 lpa which is quite good for a ug degree
- We can get internship opportunities in this institute

The institute helps to take a science subject with some other course which is very unique that no other colleges provide, the admission is on merit basis of the 12th marks,the college also provides funding to budding entrepreneurs

- The teaching quality is good and labs are well maintained
- There are many clubs and activities that help in overall development.
Dislikes
- Vit AP hostel rules, which can sometimes feel too restrictive
- The food quality in mess needs improvement
- Connectivity is a bit inconvenient in vit ap, campus is located far from the main city areas.
Admission:
I applied few other engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh through EAMCET but I ultimately chose VIT AP because of its campus environment ,modern facilities and structured academic system. Samadhi other colleges I applied for had limited infrastructure and higher fees with fewer facilities.

- The first thing i like here is the infrastructure, it is really great. The classrooms here are excellent and modern. Most of the professors over here are knowledgeable and supportive.
- Second is the FFCS(Fully flexible credit system) which allows students to choose their own courses which they have to write in that particular semester. And it feels like you are the boss who decides which class to attend and at what time.
- Next thing is the Campus life and social interactions. Here you can see students from all corners of India even from other nearby countries. The exposure that you get here is really great and you can enjoy your campus life to your fullest.
Dislikes
- Things that i disliked at first was as a fresher you are not allowed to go out of the campus(as a hosteller) for first 3months without permission, but later i realised it is for our safety.
- The hostel rules might be strict with attendance and discipline and regular checkup will be there if they feel something suspicious about u.
- the tuition fees might feel a bit high and sometimes a burden to some families.

I applied for tnea college and got my seat allocated in normal private engineering colleges B.tech cse. I applied for 2nd round too and got my seat allocated in a normal safety college but beside these studying in int mtech in vit vellore is better than studying btech cse in normal private college. Admission procees is in two ways one is through entrance exam and another is through your boards.The most preffered course by students is cse and it sector courses.

- things like are the bachmates i got they are helping ,motivating the girl/boys ratio is 8/10 means if 100 boys are there then 80 girls are threre.
- the factulty and management are good and alows adorable so i liked them in my college.
- the infrastructure is very good and well managed i liked it.

- Things i disliked is the add on fess other than tution fees to be managed
- some times factulty also dont solve problems of students
- the conflicts of students some times i dont like it

i chose this college over the other colleges as because of affordability ican afford this college and its upto money college and the factulty and infrastructure are amazing campus and hostel are good. other colleges i applied is delhi university i got regected there and in lovely professional university igot delected but i choose this as placements are high here. admission is on basis of cat score cutoff is more than 60 in cat and other criteria .

- Negative one is like the food in hostel mess are not good

- And the outing rules only 2 hours in a day

I applied for 4 - 5 colleges and i got selected for the gurunanak college in chennai and i rejected that and i waited for Vit only 100 % placements .
60 percent in class 12th and no entrance exam for my course.

- The academics and extra curricular activites are upto the mark. The professors are well knowledgable and friendly.

- It can be a bit expensive to live here in Vellore. The weather is also pretty humid.

I choose VIT for the following reasons:
1. The ambience and the greenary of the campus . The campus is almost 372 acres which is a pretty decent size.
2. The safety of girl students. The intime is 7 pm and the hostel intime is 8:30 which enables safety of girls.
3. VIT has a good reputation with a variety of companies coming for placements.
4. Hands on experiance. There are many tech events that enable practical thinking .

i always wanted to study in VIT only. because VIT is one of the top most ranked college in the country. also for the UG degree i wanted to spend less. according to all other colleges the fees are prtty much higher in other colleges. the total fee i spend on college is arunf 1.5 lakhs for 3 years but compared to other colleges where the fees will be arounf 500000. the eligibility for the addmission is 85% in the 12th grade. also specilisation in financial analytics.

First i got a good rank of 5000 in the written test in 2022 at that it was some what good rank although I got CSE in 2nd Category also I got 97.2 percentile In JEE Mains but I haven't opted for Counciling because I need only CSE

Based on the previous year's cutoff and closing ranks, the cutoff rank for the CSE branch is 8,000 and the ECE branch is 16,000. VITEEE 2024 cutoffs will be published separately for each engineering branch. Candidates with a score of 118 or higher would most likely be put in the 1-250 range.
