Fees and Financial Aid:

The total yearly fees is around 100000-150000, depending upon the scholarship we get, there are several scholarship provided, what I got was the merit based scholarship which reduces the fees heavily , various other scholarship is also provided by the institute based on income of the person.

Vit AP Review

I joined VIT AP through EAMCET so m yearly sfee is 105000. For student who join under category 1,the fee is around 195000 per year, apart from tuition fee there are some charges like admission fees of 10000, caution deposit 3000,exam fee and lab fee, but these are mostly one time or minimal. Compared to the previous year the fees increases slightly depending on the category. The university provide scholarship like merit based fee waiver for student with good ranks,and some financial aid options for economically weak students.

My fees per year in vit is, 295000 for course and 140000 for hostel which totally comes around 435000 per year. All the tuition fees, Caution deposit and Registeration fees comes into the fees told above.My friends also pay same fees but some pay less as per their mark and i know one of my class mates who pays 120000 for his tuition fee alone but hostel fee depends on they type of room that you choose ranging from 120000 to 240000.Even though it seems expensive it is worth it.Yeah they also provide 100 percent scholarship for students who top in their districts or locality.

Best college in India

There is not such detailed fee structure mentioned, but i am a integrated mtech student so my 5 year tution fees is around 6 lacks and the hostel + mess fees is around 8 lacks. And there is no scolership for any of the categories

the detailed fee structure of my college is as tution fee is 1.75 lakh then admission fees is 4000 development fees and lab fees is 5000 test,exam fee 2000 and other fee approximately 4-5 thousandthere are scolarship is also available for sc/st obc student other bachmates fees like in m.c.a is 1.64 lakh in mcom is 1.50 lakh and there are many other course in our college .

LIFE AT VIT

I am currently in 4th year and im paying Rs 3 Lakh for tuition and 2 lakh as hostel fees. Hostel fees depends on which hostel is chosen AC/NON -AC. The fees is based on the Category given by the institute during the admission process. There are 5 category of fees with 1 being the lowest fees. The fees can go up to 10 Lakh including hostel fee for NRI students. The admission for Btech is through the VITEEE exam which costs Rs 1350 for online mode.

The annual tution fee is around 55000, but for the upcoming batch it is 90000 per annum. there will be cauion deposite of 2000 on the first payment. and it will be fully refunded after the collage graution. there are no other extra fee to be paid.also there are various scholarship foe economically weaker section students.

Review On Vellore Institute Of Technolgy one of the Prestigious Colleges of India

Fee structure depends on VITEEE test it's like a admission test based on the scores we have to opt for counciling and here there are total of 5 categories 1st category with 190000 and 2nd category with 290000 and goes on increasing 1 lakh.

VIT Vellore, detailed review for freshers

I was in category 5, so I had to pay tuition fee of 5 lakh and I opted for 2AC hostel room which is a bit on the higher side at around one lakh fifty thousand a year. They take a caution deposit of thirty thousand but it is refundable at the end of your course. There is no reservation for any caste based reimbursements. Category 1 pays the least with just 2 lakhs of tuition fee per year. It is worth mentioning that after 1st year everyone is allotted rooms in accordance with their grades, so the hostel rates vary.

Is there a limit to the number of scholarships a student can receive at VIT Vellore?

VIT Vellore generally doesn't impose a limit on the number of scholarships a student can receive, but there might be some restrictions. If you qualify for multiple merit-based scholarships, VIT might consider the highest value scholarship and adjust the others accordingly to avoid exceeding the total program fee.
