SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester onwards placement season starts. More than 100+ companies visited but due to the huge crowd of students, you should perform really well to crack the interview. The highest package offered is 22 LPA by Microsoft. Overall 65-70% of students get placed. I opted for MBA after BTech.

The placement opportunities provided by the college are good with a record of 100% placement for CSE students. Over 200 companies come to the college for hiring students. The offers provided by the company range from 4 LPA to 40 LPA.

Many companies abroad companies and overseas companies come to India and many students of this college get placed by Google, Facebook at Tata, Birla, cement other and all others that give the brightest future in of the students and highest package package is 1.2 to crore that is very high for one student and average package is 20 lakh per annum that the that is the dream of every student percentage of getting student getting placement is approx 90% of CS branch and quite low in other branch flexible have 60% and mechanical have 40%.

The Placements for the Students happens from the 5th Semester. The companies which have a placement cell are Infosys, TCS, ZOHO. and also includes banks such as CUB, RBL Bank. The Highest Package offered is 15,000 to 30,000. The Maximum Percentage of Students getting Placements are 60%. I have a plan of pursuing my PG in Abroad

After the 8th semester the student is eligible for placements, the college itself provides the companies to the students, many-core companies and many other big companies like google, amazon, Microsoft Deloitte, etc and many mass recruiters companies like infosys also visit here, there are 88% job placements are here. the max ctc of a student is 44 lakh per annum with thr min ctc was 4 lakh per annum, with an average ctc was around 8 lakh per annum. we can do many things like apply for civil services, or may also apply for future studies also.

Not much knowledge as of now. But at least from the end of the 3rd year, companies start recruiting us. Infosys, Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs etc often visit the campus. This year 50 lakh of the package was bagged by a student by Google Tokyo.

Many companies visit the campus.The centralized SRM placement process organised at the Kattankulathur campus brings students from the SRM campuses such as Modinagar, Ramapuram and Vadapalani. Top companies are drawn towards SRM IST due to the cosmopolitan composition of the students and the quality of students.

Top placements, high class hostels, AC classrooms, Top sports facility, vast internship opportunities and international events and programs Are the perks of enrolling here. Wifi facility is amazing. No stress or pressure of studies. Availability of posh flats around campus. Anti bully and discrimination forum ensures safe and sound environment in the campus. The campus is huge, clean and green. Students get an opportunity to see shooting of various South Indian films. Teachers are friendly but lazy at the same time. Students have to keep pushing teachers to get the work done. Payment and transaction procedure is slow. Girls hostels are strict and have fixed timings to enter inside or go out. Boys hostels are linient and has no time restriction. Wardens are helping but have a habit for disturbing students now and then. Food is tasty and hygienic and no student is allowed to waste food. Attendance is compulsory both in hostel and class. Medical facilities are good. Free for hostelers and charged for outside students. SRM is famous for its placements and highly paid jobs.

Because the course Genetic engineering is not commonly available in every colleges in the state and in SRM the quality of education was better when compared to other colleges. It has one of the finest campus in India and the ambience of the campus was very good with safety. The availability of lab equipment is great when compared to others. The student can easily learn from the best lectures and they can also gain knowledge through their hands-on lab.

In the 4th year you will be eligible for placements. Many comapnie visit SRM which includes Cognizants, Infosys, TCS,WIPRO,ACCENTURE,ADOBE,ORACLE etc. Around 2000+ student placed got dream offer ,total recruiter were 650+ and highest package offered was RS 35 LPA
