Because the course Genetic engineering is not commonly available in every colleges in the state and in SRM the quality of education was better when compared to other colleges. It has one of the finest campus in India and the ambience of the campus was very good with safety. The availability of lab equipment is great when compared to others. The student can easily learn from the best lectures and they can also gain knowledge through their hands-on lab.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in plant Genetics and microbiology so I chose the dept of genetic engineering. They have many knowledgeable faculties who handles their students with care and also teaches them the best from their syllabus
Internships Opportunities
They gave us a opportunity to do our final year project in abroad through a program called Semester abroad program where the eligible students can go abroad and do their projects where our management have some tie ups.
Placement Experience
More than 500 companies are coming for the placement which varies from their departments the highest package is 32Lpa and the lowest is 3.6lpa. They have trained their students for placement training and they have a very good placement record.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is affordable for the quality of knowledge they provide us and they are one of the best in India. The students can apply for the scholarship and there are many other groups available for the students to gain knowledge and experience.
Campus Life
This is the biggest campus in tamil Nadu with many facilities and the campus is in very peaceful environment also it is located next to the potheri railway station. This campus has the largest auditorium which is one of the biggest auditorium in asia
Hostel Facilities
They have both ac and non ac rooms where the accommodation fee may differs.they have many hostel blocks and also they have the laundry system for students. The food quality of the hostel is great ,they have both south Indian and north Indian mess for the students.
Admission
Admission process for bachelor degree is simple only they have to attend the entrance exam and then Admission can be done. Management seats are also available for the students who missed their entrance exam
