Nit trichy has an excellent placement record with a large number of students placed in to top companies every year, the institute's has strong industry connection and career development program
Their way of teaching is really good and impressive, they make concepts easy to understand.
You get a scholarship...if you have some reservations but on the contrary, the college set is not that costly compared to other colleges and the roi is good here, you'll get placed in a nice company in the end anyways

Dislikes

The wifi service is very poor in the hostel and even mobile network is bad due to its remote location.
Room is spacious but the hostel maintainance is so bad as compared to the college maintenance.
This college is very old. so infrastructures are not that good. wifi facility is very poor

the diversity of the people here. In a class of 60 we have more than one person from almost every state in india. We also have students from bangladesh and some arab countries studying with us.
the fests and events are organised and executed in such a grand way.
The campus- so green and vast and a lot of things to explore. the hugeness of the campus also means that there are a lot more sports grounds to play in

Dislikes

the heat — trichy is usually verryyy hot. The trees shade sometimes makes up for it, but when you’re in class that’s a diff experience
the curfew for girls while boys dont have any curfew

Placement Experience:

The placements in our campus for B Tech students in definitely top 5 in this country. Salaries averagin at 20 lpa has been the standard for the past few years. The placements for architecture are a little glim, but I guess that's the case everywhere

the college is completely runs on student council
vast and spatial infrastructures and facilities
experienced faculty and availability of shops, market ,hospital inside the campus itself

Dislikes

the climate over here is very hot and humid
there are no proper water facility in some hostels
Sometimes lacks in the quality of food served and maintained

Placement Experience:

Students can become eligible in their 8th semester which is also called PPO (Pre Placement Offer) where the number of students getting placed are very low or the students can get their placements in their 10th semester. L&T, Sanjaypuri architects, Zaha Hdid architects are the few companies that I know. In general there are 10-20 offers made. The highest package offered is 18LPA and average is 5.5LPA as per the latest data. 78-85 percent students get placed and the other 15 percent opt for further studies. Currently I'm not sure with my plan but I may do master degree.

ONE OF THE BEST CAMPUS AMONGST ALL NITs. NIT TRICHY.

Likes

Trichy NIT is one of the biggest NITs with 800 acres of area
Campus is filled with beautiful trees, birds, flowers etc.
Very good traffic system and also well disciplined security guards.

Dislikes

The location of the campus in Trichy city is bad. There is not city nearby to.
The curfew for girls are very strict. They have to get in before 9.30 pm everyday.
First year boys has a curfew of 10.00 pm as well.

Placement Experience:

Placement happens in the fourth year before the final semester. Multiple companies offers jobs like Google, Amazon, Instagram etc. Average salary package is around 50LPA 95 percent of students get placed in average There is no campus placement for architecture.

I love the college campus, the exposure and the brand name the college gives.
The people who come to my college are well qualified as they have to have High scores in JEE Mains. So u will have a good competitive environment
The student activities, clubs, teams and fests will be awesome

Dislikes

The college hostel internet facilities and also few facilities are missing for girls in hostel as we have strict curfew by 9 pm
We should only take the initiative to learn more apart from what is taught in the college
The campus is little far away from the city and the area doesn't have much facilities

Placement Experience:

My college has a good placement opportunity. If not placement u can anyway opt for some higher studies in prestigious universities in and out of India. Average package is 8 lpa. And all companies from Google to Flipkart comes. And also for each department the core companies also come and according to your interests also companies come. Like graphic design, UI and UX, analytics, management etc

Compared to other architectural colleges where there is no placement, in NITT they have training and placement cell who train and aid placements for architectural students along with other technical students. There will be average 10-12 companies who visit the college and 10-15 students get placed average for 4L

Exposure and ranking were the main reasons for selecting this cours. I love the multi cultural environment and the faculties knowledge about each specific course in my university. I opted this course because I was always interested in doing a course which requires creativity!

NIT Trichy is indeed one of the best engineering colleges in India, the institution that changed my life. While every NIT has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, NIT Trichy has a distinctive competitive ambiance. Life here is pretty fast-paced and apart from academics, NIT Trichy also has an equal balance of extracurricular activities. There are more than 50 student-driven clubs that encourage the active participation of students. These clubs instill a sense of equality among the students irrespective of their academic profiles. NIT Trichy gives you the opportunity to pursue your passions boldly.

The climate here is a bit unbearable and the location is kind of remote. You will find it difficult to adjust here in the initial months but once you have adapted yourself to the ambiance here, the real fun starts.

Overall, as an NIT Trichy student, you will learn to socialize, handle tea life problems and fulfill your goals. Here, you alone fuel your passions!

I am currently studying ECE at NIT Trichy. So far, I’ve had an amazing experience. During the first two years, you will deal with Core Electronics. In the first year, every branch studies the same subjects to brush up on concepts learned in senior classes at school. The next two years deal with the Communication part. You will get to choose electives from various options like image processing, etc.

All the branches are equally good and each offers ample opportunities in terms of scholarships. The ECE branch has a very good reputation and the faculty is quite good. Some teachers can even teach more than two subjects with subjects ranging from Digital Electronics to Signal Processing and Data Structures (elective). NIT Trichy follows a Relative Grading System (RG).

Thus, the NIT Trichy ECE branch is a great choice.
