Remarks

Exposure and ranking were the main reasons for selecting this cours. I love the multi cultural environment and the faculties knowledge about each specific course in my university. I opted this course because I was always interested in doing a course which requires creativity!

Course Curriculum Overview

It was up-to-date. We had internship for a period of 6 months, which gave us a goo d knowledge about the industry. There were many good faculties who had PhD from IIT and NIT's and their experience greatly helped us in gaining knowledge.

Class Size: 48Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities

FHD Hyderabad, I had to make a portfolio and with that they will shortlist candidates for interview. After interview they will selcted the required number of students.

Placement Experience

My degree doesn't have campus placement as it is a professional course. So we had to search jobs on our own but the dept and professors definitely help us in finding the right job

College Events

We had so many fests ranging from technical, cultural, intercollege, interhostel, sports and so many other fests. There were around 4 fests each sem and 1000s of students come for the technical and cultural fest.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for students whose parents salary are below some defined amount. Also for NRI students, there are scholarships available.

Campus Life

Sports facilities included swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court,etc. Also every hostel,library and computer centre had wifi. Library houses many books and is well spacious and let. The equipment in labs are of modern technology.

Hostel Facilities

There were 6 hostels for girls and 8 hostels for guys. Each hostel had wifi, common room with computer access, gym. The fee was around 40000 for a year including food and rooms. We usually have 3,2 and single sharing rooms.

Hostel Fee: INR 40000 per year

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

To be honest it's was not my 1st preference to get admission even though I am here . Reason for rejection is distance from my home town. For mba they take cat score only and I am not sure of cutoff but it might range between 75 to 80 for general 70 to 75 for ews and obc . NIT Trichy In A Nutshell

I personally am from Maharashtra so for VNIT Nagpur I Would Have Got ECE(HS) But Is Prefered this college for its national importance and name....i Even was getting top maharashtra colleges from MHTCET.....I wasnt Able To Clear The Criteria In JEE Advanced to Get Into IITs And Hence Couldnt Go There....The 2nd paper went terribly wrong for me but now i am happy....We have the match the required criteria in jee mains to get this clg....also 75% in boards is inportant for Gen and OBC and For SC ST it is 65%....Then Go Through a very very long admission process named JOSAA then CSAB(if you want to upgrade your seat) Then Pay The Fees And Report Physically...Read More
