- Faculty is very friendly. They are hard working . We can visit them any time to clear our doubts .

Dislikes
- Lot of restrictions on girls . They can stay till 9:45 PM outside the hostel .
- Hostels are not upto the mark . WIFI don't work properly .
- Mess food is not that good , people coming from North face problem .
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good . It is planned according to the real life requirements . All the core subject are covered before the internship season starts which is very helpful . There will be 2 cycle test ( 20 marks each ) and final exam contributing 50 marks in the semester end .
Internships Opportunities
For Mca , internship season starts from beggining of the second year . Companies like Uber, Visa, KLA, SAP, etc visit . Some students also get PPO based on their performance during their summer internship. This time very few companies came for MCA .
Placement Experience
For MCA , the internship season starts in the beginning of second year , many famous companies like Uber, GS, Visa ,KLA visit our college . The highest package in MCA placement is 52 LPA and median is 10 LPA. Many students get PPO from the summer internship. The placement percentage for the year 2024 is not that good , but NITT MCA holds a good record of top placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure of MCA for my batch was 5,70,000 for the course including hostel fees. There are many scholarships provided by college like RECAL provided by alumini of NITT. Also students have medical insurance of about 1,00,000 per year.
Campus Life
There are various fest that are organized every year like Pragyan, Festember , NITTFEST in which famous celebrities come . MCA also conductes All India MCA Meet named Version in which students from various colleges doing MCA come to NITT to participate in various tech-events to win exciting prizes. Sportsfete is a yearly sports fest that is an Inter-deparmental competition . Also there are various tech and non- tech clubs at NITT.
Hostel Facilities
For girls , there are 6 hostels . For first year , they give 3 seater room and for second year they give 2 seater rooms. Hostels are not well equiped , we face alot of difficulty to adjust . We are provided with open Wifi . Girls have two options for Mess which are North mess and South mess. Sometimes the quality of food is not good and taste is not good .
Admission
The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . The NIMCET exam is conducted in June and form filling date is tilll April of every year. Form fees for NIMCET is 2,500 for general and OBC. The syllabus for NIMCET is similar to JEE . The eligibility for NIMCET can be checked on official website .
Faculty
Faculties are very qualified . The ratio od faculty : student is sufficient . All the faculties are very approachable , they interact with us and solve our doubts anytime. Some faculties are partial toward some students and give extra marks to them .
