NIT Trichy Begins MBA Admission 2026

The National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli has opened applications for its MBA Admission 2026–28 at the Department of Management Studies (DoMS). Eligible candidates who have a valid CAT 2025 percentile can apply online through the official portal until March 8, 2026 (6:00 PM).

The selection will be based on CAT score, academics, interview performance, and work experience. The two-year full-time MBA program will begin for the 2026 academic session.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

To apply for NIT Trichy MBA Admission 2026, candidates must:

  • Have a full-time undergraduate degree in any discipline
  • Secure minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA (GEN/GEN-EWS/OBC-NCL)
  • Secure minimum 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA (SC/ST/PwD)
  • Hold a valid CAT 2025 percentile

Final-year students can also apply, provided they meet eligibility criteria at the time of admission. CAT scores from previous years are not valid.

How Will Candidates be Selected?

Shortlisting will be done based on:

  • CAT 2025 overall percentile
  • Undergraduate academic performance

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview (offline mode) at centers including Noida/Delhi NCR, Nagpur, Kolkata, Chennai, and Tiruchirappalli. Final selection will consider:

  • CAT percentile
  • Academic record
  • Professional work experience
  • Interview performance

The application fee for MBA Admission 2026 is ₹1550 for GEN, GEN-EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to pay ₹1050. Applicants must note that the fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, so they should carefully verify all details before submitting the online application.

  • CAT 2025 Score Card
  • 10th and 12th Mark Sheets

No hard copy submission is required.
