NIT Trichy offers various scholarships such as:
- Abundant Cauvery Delta Education Fund Scholarship for B.Tech and B.Arch students.
- The Central Sector Scholarship scheme for Top Class students for reserved category (ST/SC) students.
- Post-Matric Scholarship for Odisha Government SC & ST students.
- Tamil Nadu Government awards the scholarship to the citizens of Tamil Nadu. Also, various State governments award scholarship to the minority students.

- Infrastructure is good, with new and good design buildings. Sports complex is there where students can play numerous sports like badminton,tennis,basketball,etc.Gym facility is also there.
- Professors are helpful and cooperative, they clear all our doubts related to academics. Student council is there which is run by students and NITT has students supremacy there ,all the majority work is dine by students here
Dislikes
- I don't like Home state reservation.This affects the surrounding ,major South Indian people sticks to their groups and does not communicate with North Indians.
- Hostels are old ,and there is not any facility of washing machine, while other NIT colleges have this facility.
Fees and Financial Aid:
institute tution fee for each semester is Rs.62500 ,while other fee for each year is 28000.Students whose family is less than 1 LPA receive tution fee remission,while those of family income between 1-5 LPA will get 2/3 of tution fee remission. Hostel and mess fee is 46000 for each semester. various institute as well as government scholarships is given to students like NSP,ONGC,RECALL,etc
Likes
- Campus is large, with adequate sports facilities. There are 2 gyms with varying levels of equipment functionality. Infrastructure is above average for all departments.
- Central Library was a Big Yes for me. Has all genres of books and enough seating capacity.
Dislikes
- Some hostels have old infractructure without proper drinking water availability. 3 occupancy rooms for 1st years make it a bit congested and off putting.
- The campus is very far from any urban centres so there are very few places for entertainment. There can also be language barrier for North Indians outside the campus
Fees and Financial Aid:
For the first year. Annual Tuition fee is around 1,75,000Rs and hostel fee is close to 60,000Rs. Scholarships are available at economic basis as well as category basis. SC/ST categ. students have complete exemption from tuition fees along with people with annual income under 1 Lakh Rupees. Apart from people with under 5 Lakh ruppee annual income will have some percentage of annual tuition fees remission.

- Hostel facility is good, Campus is lush green. Alumini network is huge and helpful, Faculty's nowledge and guidance is helpful for students
- Internet facility is great for students to work
Dislikes
- Some of the faculties are not cooperable with students
- Stereotypical thinking of people here at

Fee not increasing Yearly approx 2Lakhs for open categaory students including hostel My category is Open For SC/ST, only hostel fee is taken For Pwd as well, only hostel fee is taken Many scholarships are available as well
Likes
- I like the environment with full of tress and lush green atmosphere
- the professors who are extremely experienced and approachable
Dislikes
- curfew for girls ,Girls shouldnt go after 9pm
- Every process is an offline process and so lengthy

Tution fee-62,500 for 2021-22 admitted students One time fee- 24,200 includes registration fee annual fee- 9800 includes wifi,library,fest,exams and sports annual fee is added only once a year and festive fee for every semester Hostel fee- 44500 for each sem includes mess, wifi and room rent These all increases year to year based on demand of college

Fees and Financial Aid:
The year-wise tuition fees is 125000 INR. Students having annual family income less than 1 lakh get 100% tuition fees reimbursment. Students having annual family income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh get 2/3 tuition fees reimbursement. Others have to pay the complement fees. Other charge like computer, library, medical and festives etc fees are upto 5000-6000.

- Huge support from senior and alumni side.
Dislikes
- A bit of patriarchy in few places due to more security for girls
- Not great washrooms and water facilities

Tuition fees first year: 1,17,500 Hostel fees: 53,000 Caution fees: around 2000 Lab and procession fees: around 8000 (This is for general as I am general) We are provided with merit cum need scholarships from both alumni side and other non profit organisations. It is based on our 12th grades and category and income of parents.
Likes
- Lots of research opportunities are provided for the students there is good lab and Research facilities new upgrades are made to the department buildings every year in order to provide top notch education to the students of nit trichy.
- The campus has a shopping complex at provides basic necessity for students for their everyday life
Dislikes
- The hostels can be improve as the buildings are old and ancient
- The teaching system requires the students to already know the subject they are studying
Fees and Financial Aid:
Depending on the various programs offered by NIT Trichy here is the general fee structure by NIT Trichy for undergraduate student General, OBC and EWS candidates: approx 1.25L ST/SC: 10k to 15k For Hostel and Mess the cost is around 30k to 40k, it varies every year

- Facilites of full ac, plus super net octagon where you can study
- The club culture of this college is also a thing that i like
Dislikes
- Curfew for girls. This is the thing i think that my college is backdated or old fashioned .
- Wifi in hostel is not upto the standard which also i donot like that much.

The fee except mess and hostel is:- (General category):- Every even sem:-? 62500/-(only tution fee) Odd sem:- 1st sem:- ?112450/-; 3rd sem:-?85350/-; 5th sem:- ?87650/- 7th sem:- 90,250/- This includes(computer ,institution,exam,library,association and cultural,sports centre,student aid fee,medical and insurance and festival charges ) For sc,st no tution fee , and so even sem no fee and odd sem very less fee. No management quota
Likes
- Admin roles, personally i was part of students council through which i got so much exposure dealing with all aspects of managements exist in NITT, it is a very good learning experience
- clubs, I am part and head of dance troupe, we attended many competitions on is HHI, we even got selected to represent to INDIA in HHI finals in USA for 2024, arizona
Dislikes
- not speeding up the processes, many signs need for everything being a central govt college
- not too updation in curriculum with current growing speed of technology

Tution fee: 62500*2 (for people above 5 lakh income), there will be full tution fee remission for people below 1 lakh income and 30 percent remission for people between 1 lakh and 5 lakh income caution fee of 1000, admission fee of 30000, development fee of 11000, exam fee of 1000

- Work culture is amazing since everyone has good calibre.
- Clubs, Sports teams, festivals of all sorts are available,
Dislikes
- Gender discrimination is very common in many criterias.
- Location of the college is too far from any city, have to travel a lot for purchasing anything

NIT Trichy does not have any scholarship facilities for all MCA students who have got admission through NIMCET. However, the reserved minority students can apply for merit/ need based scholarship in pursuing MCA. There are loan facilities available in the campus which unreserved category students can take for pursuing MCA.
