Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum is very good. I chose it because it aligns with my field of interest, which is software engineering. Curriculum is vast and updated, though there are few gaps to fulfill. For example, technologies in the software industry are moving at very fast speed, but the curriculum gets updated once in decade.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many big tech companies visit the college for internship opportunities with an attractive stipend. The average stipend of my branch was 1.5 lakh this year. Multiple domains like software, hardware and management are there in which student can apply.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are very good. There are lots of opportunities for students to grab. Many big tech MNCs like Google, Microsoft, Oracle etc visit the college for internships and full-time jobs. The highest package of this year is 60lac per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year-wise tuition fees is 125000 INR. Students having annual family income less than 1 lakh get 100% tuition fees reimbursment. Students having annual family income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh get 2/3 tuition fees reimbursement. Others have to pay the complement fees. Other charge like computer, library, medical and festives etc fees are upto 5000-6000.

Campus Life

4

Campus is very huge (almost 800 acres). It is a green lush campus. There are many grounds, sport services etc for students. So the college focuses on overall development of the students. The classrooms are very modern. It have projectores, ACs and other facilities. Many social and cultural clubs are there in college which conduct activities time to time.

Hostel Facilities

5

There are 24 boys hostel and 5 girls hostel in the campus. There are 7 messes for boys involving 2 south indian messes, 2 north indian messes, 1 kerala mess, 1 telugu mess and 1 common mess. The food quality is average. The hostel rooms are very good.

Admission

I chose this college because of its reputation among other engineering colleges. This college holds NIRF ranking 9th among all engineering institutions. Also the placement trends of this college over the years are very satisfying.

Faculty

4

Faculties are very good qualified. The exams difficulty level varies from easy to medium. There are 2 term exams every semester. If any students fail to attend any one of them, in that case compensation exam is also provided.

Interview Experience

4

There were no GD, or interview for the admission. The admission was done based on JEE-Main score throung JOSAA counselling. There are various cutt-offs for every branch. For my branch, which is CSE, the cuttoff was the highest amoing all the NITs.

Night Life

5

Nightlife is the best part of the campus life. There are multiple night canteens in the college. Famous places like MIG, stone benches, they are the common part of the nightlife which make it much better.
