Which will be better for a BCA, IMS Ghaziabad or LPU?

I am a second year BCA student at LPU. I chose LPU over IMS Ghaziabad for BCA because of the following reasons: LPU has received the highest A++ grade by NAAC. LPU has a better placement record than IMS Ghaziabad. According to the LPU placement report 2023, 100% BCA batch got placed. The highest salary package offered to the LPU BCA students was INR 34.24 LPA during that year. According to the IMS Ghaziabad placement report 2022, around 25% of students in the BCA program got placed, and the highest salary package offered to the BCA students was INR 10 LPA. LPU offers BCA, BCA Hons, and BCA Big Data Analytics in a tie-up with IBM. This offers a great industrial exposure to students. LPU offers scholarships to its students based on their percentage in the qualifying exam or LPUNEST or in the form of financial aid, and more. LPU offers various skill development programs, professional training, and opportunities for industrial exposure to its students. When a student chooses a university, they must consider factors such as academic environment, faculty, placement opportunities, ranking, industrial exposure, professional training, infrastructure, etc. So according to these factors, I can say BCA at LPU is better than IMS Ghaziabad.

How is the BCA course at LPU in terms of overall academics?

LPU is good for the BCA course. LPU School of Computer Applications has been awarded among the top four computer application institutes in North India by NASSCOM. This BCA course is designed to build programming skills for developing efficient and resource-optimized software. The eligibility criteria for this course are that candidates must pass the 12th grade with 50% aggregate marks (with English) or equivalent. Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees that time was around 90000 per semester but i had got a scholarship of around 48 percent through LPUNEST after which it was reduced to 41600 per sem + examination fees and placement fees . The examination fees every sem was 4000 and the placement fees was one time payable which was 10000.

Per sem 80000 i got 20000 scholarship so my fess for the year is 120000 i think thats a decent Amount we can also pay in emi but i perfer to pay it directly and ya thats it i love the collage campus .

Hey my name is Jagdeep I live in jalandhar also study in jalandhar in lovely college the fees of my course is 30,000 per year of my bca course every semester I paid almost 15,000 and I recently completed my ist year I fell that the fees is same like previous year they were demand 1000 rupees for registration and admission fees also It will be included in 30,000 of my year fess and there is no lab fees all included in 30,000 but students which are sc and st they paid only 5,000 for year and also got a scholarship and the behaviour of staff is very good also teacher are well educated or tech with enjoyable way to understand fast .

Here you get discount when you pay whole course and semester fee and when you go semester wise you pay more than whole semester fee like I have paid 130000 Whole 6 semester fee but if I go semester wise then I have to pay 24400 and it's total will be 146400

The backlogs system was not good.5 chances atter that you can have G grade.

Semester fees:- 46500 examintation fees:- 2000 Hostel :- 42000 yearly/4 seater & Library books were free of cost. I used to eat food even from outside. So that hostel fees doesn't includes the mess charges.

The various out-of-syllabus experience you get at this fee is great

The fee per semester was 60000 INR. The average scholarship you can get is minimum 40% with LPUNEST ( which is pretty easy . The other fee was around 4000/ year for examination. There are other scholarships provided if you are a meritious student : 1) For Education Board Toppers : 100% 2) 98%+ in 12th : 60% 3)95% + in 12th :50 % 4)90% + in 12th : 40% 5)80%+ in 12th : 30 %

An insightful journey- My experience at LPU

Yearly fee for my BCA course was 1,00,000. However, my university did gave me a wonderful opportunity to avail some benefits upto 30,000 per semester. So, having my benefit of good score from 10th and one entrance test called LPU NEST, i got 20,000 benefit making my semester fee as 30,000. However,the fee increase after every year is hole burning meaning every year each course for Bachelors rises up by straight 10k. Apart from that examination fee is extra for me it was 2000 extra each semester. Rest they have flexible policy of paying fee. They do offer fee student loan too incase if any student faces difficulties and my international friends were paying twice the amount as any other normal student. But besides that one thing I can vouch for this place is that it offers you ample of opportunities way more than you can imagine there are sport opportunities, SC,ST relives and army background and if you are willing to get some discount give your best shot at LPU NEST the only opportunity that can get you the biggest scholarship

LPU- Honest Review

Yearly i have to pay 1lakh for fees including scholarship of 38% otherwise fees is around 160000 yearly +8000 for examination fees. There is no fee compensation on caste basis. There is an entry level exam which is known as LPU NEST,if you perform good in it then you can achieve maximum scholarship about 35-40%. Batchmates pay fees according to the LPU nest exam results and its not mandatory to give the LPUNEST if you want scholarship then you can give.

The fee per sem for general BCA is 90000 and there is a entrance cum scholarship exam named as LPUNEST which you can give to avail a scholarship upto 48 percent there are many more ways to get scholarships like your CUET, JEE score or your 12th marks there are many more hidden charges like exam fees 5000 per sem and there is placement services 3000 and if you want to take any extra courses then different fee depending upon the cource and is increasing every year but once you take admission you have to pay the same fee even if the fee increases the next sem it would be only for the new comers

The last date to apply and book slot for examination will be three days before the conduct of the LPUNEST Examination. The results of the examination will be released within 48 working hours.

Yes, since you have completed a Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering you can apply for lateral entry in the B.Tech CSE course of LPU. You will be granted direct admission if you have scored 90% marks or above in the diploma degree, otherwise admission is based on the merit of LPUNEST.

LPU does not any one-year diploma courses in Fashion Designing. However, the university offers a three-years Diploma in Fashion Designing course that can be pursued right after passing Class X examination.
