LPU Placements 2024: Highest Package, Average Package & Top Recruiters
LPU Placements 2024 final report is yet to be disclosed. As per media reports & other sources, the top 25% of the participating batch received an average package of INR 10.1 LPA whereas the B.Tech batch achieved the highest package of INR 3 Crore. A total of 350+ recruiters of IITs/ IIMs/NITs also hire from LPU. Earlier in the 2023 placement drive, the highest package stood at INR 54.75 LPA. 1100+ students received packages of INR 10 LPA & above in 2023. A total of 2100+ recruiters participated in the placement drive. Some of the top recruiters of LPU included Business today, Cognizant, Infosys, SHL, Microsoft etc.

placements are decent becuse of high intake students sometimes it get difficulty for placements but there is lot of company come in my college mainly 80 percent of the student get placed .. my plans is just to crack top most company and do better in future.

From 5th semester the students become eligible for the placements and the top student gets placed in the companies with the good packages where as the students with no CGPA gets job at their deserving packages in the highest package made was 72LPA for second largest was 56LPA. to set in the placements you have to go through the placement drive and give extra charges of 18000 to take training for the placements and interviews

- All cultures are available in university. You can get mingle with all cultural people and get to know about their traditions and habitats
- No need to go out of the campus. You can get everything inside the campus. Everything is available inside only.
Dislikes
- Nonveg is not available in the campus. It is a pain in a** for non vegitarians
- Unnecessary umc cases will be issued by some wrong people

In college placements are good but in aerospace average package is of 5.5 to 7.5 lakhs per annum. If you want job is core companies this is the package and if you want more package then I suggest don't go for core companies

From 5th semester students are eligible to apply for placement in many companies. Minimum 7 cgpa required to apply in company. If students get placement they can continue for work .About 90 persent students get placement every year .

- the atmosphere, infrastructure and the crowd is almost welcome and friendly
- the classrooms are large and airy and is equipped with projectors.
Dislikes
- the teachers and students interaction is very less and the teachers are not that welcoming in case of doubts.
- A lot of people in the campus may make u feel like u are in a crowd.

The placements starts from the 6th semester and student must secure a minimum grade to be eligible for the placements. But lpu has a placement record and the avg package is 5 lpa. 80 percent students are placed from bech cse and more higher studies.

- I think regarding boy to girls ratio is not good because usually girls don’t like computer stream very much that’s why

- As it is seen that lpu have good infrastructure but it is too big and many people in the college which is not good I guess
- UMC (unfair means case) this is not good because if we don’t know the some rules and we break the rule and we will get umc after 3 minor our scholarship will end

See on ad Lpu showing that they are giving 3cr placement which is not correct because one of senior got placement of it's own and he was from Lpu and learned for Lpu i guess but actual package is 64 lakhs on 2024 and one of my brother friend is got 14 lakhs per Annum and they are really giving on campus placement and we can also go for off campus placement

Our Campus LPU is known for its placements All the vertos get eligible for placement in year 2 I personally did not chose placement as I had other plans after my graduation but my friends are placed at Wipro, Google, Microsoft,Apple and Capgemini All of them are at rewarding packages But for me I had plans for higher study at abroad again I was able to do that because LPU is brand when I applied having a degree from LPU just reflected me as a outlier. So for this i would rate 5 given my friends experience and their packages

I am a second year B.Tech CSE student at LPU. Here is the official data for 2023 B.Tech CSE placements at the university-
- The average package for B.Tech CSE/IT was INR 7 LPA in 2023.
- The 2023 branch/course-wise highest package is not available, but the overall highest package was INR 54.75 LPA.
- During the 2023 placements, a B.Tech CSE student received a job offer of INR 52.08 LPA from Microsoft.

Which gives better placement in cse, LPU or KIIT?
Both KIIT and LPU are considered as top private universities for engineering. But I can only speak in favour of LPU as I have done my education at LPU.
I interacted with my friends at LPU who have done their BTech CSE. More than 500+ recruiters visit the campus for placements every year. BTech CSE placements at LPU recorded INR 42 lakhs as the highest salary package. Additionally, LPU had 110+ recruiters from top colleges like IITs, IIMs, and NITs. The highest monthly stipend for any kind of internship at LPU is around 80k.
Tanya Arora, a final year BTech CSE student secured INR 42 lakh job offer from Microsoft. Amazon also offered INR 28 lakhs package. Utkarsh secured a position at Google HQ in Silicon Valley with a package of INR 1 crore.
This I hope proves my point that LPU is better for CSE than KIIT.

Since I am doing BTech from LPU and I did research a lot about these colleges before enrolling in LPU, I can say LPU is better in terms of placements.

Can I get an honest review on LPU University placements in engineering?
I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-
The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.
Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.
This is the engineering placement scenario at LPU.
Which is better MBA in terms of placement - Manipal University, SRM University, KIIT University, LPU or Amity University?
I have done my MBA from LPU. LPU is one of the top private universities in India. The placements in LPU are what make it stand out from the rest of the universities.
- MBA students are offered an average package of INR 4–6 LPA in more than 100 companies.
- More than 550 students got placed in a single day by Cognizant, not once but twice, which makes it around 1000 students.
- In 2019, 3 engineering students were offered INR 28 LPA from Amazon.
- A BBA student from LPU was placed at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Which is good in terms of placement and overall academics: LNCT Bhopal or LPU Jalandhar?
I am an alumnus of LPU, but my honest opinion is based on my personal experience. LPU offers good infrastructure, faculty, academics, and placements. Though placements depend on the students’ effort and dedication, it is also a college’s responsibility to bring in good companies.
IBM, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, Bharti Airtel, Maruti, Larsen & Toubro, DLF, Nokia Siemen, Indian Navy, HDFC Bank, Ranbaxy, Royal Bank of Scotland, Tata, Wipro, Accenture, Convergys, Reliance, Dell, Taj Hotels, Provogue, Nestle, Coca Cola, Barclays, Deloitte, etc. are some of the companies that visit the LPU campus for hiring.
Moreover, LPU is positioned 50th in the NIRF 2023 Engineering Rankings.
Based on all these reasons, and out of my own positive experience of studying at LPU, I would recommend the university for higher studies.
Which is better for placements, Presidency University Bangalore or LPU?
Presidency University is a relatively newly established institute in 2013 whereas LPU was founded in 2006. LPU was ranked 99th for the overall by NIRF and Presidency University Bangalore was awarded with University of the year 2018 by EduTech review.

Since Presidency University is relatively newly established, when compared to LPU, thus the alumni network and organisation connect is not that strong as of now. Faculty at both institutes are highly qualified and impart in-depth knowledge. A student with diligence can excel in any field.
