75 % attendance should be match and they can raise class on around 8 am
force people to join any sales company and all
so many student enroll For B.TECH with is not good, they simply enroll any student

first i see the campus and then environment. other than that my friends tell me more about the college that this is the good college you get more techstack to learn and this is good college then but now there is so much student enroll in particular strem which is not good.

One thing I really like about my college is well structured exam patterns and evaluation system is balanced and in systematic way.
Lab access : Excellent lab access provided by the college and well equipped and accessible by any schedule time
Library: College library is another strong asset. They provide textbook, reference book that really helped me during placement and exams.

Dislikes

Placement was not as expected. Most of companies that they provide are for sales role that is not helpful for btech students so this is disappointment after investing so much of money, it is kind of waste.
Size of the classroom is quite big. Apart from classroom they give admissions to so many student, there is no as such eligibility criteria.
Professors are not upto mark. They don't provide practical knowledge, basically they only focus on theory.

Admission:

The other colleges I was looking for was Graphics era and amity university. I choose LPU because of scholorship, fees stucture and placement and location. The admission process was almost same for all colleges.

A balanced review of Academics, Exposure and Campus Life at LPU

Likes

Campus Life and Exposure: The campus is extremely lively, with people from various countries and states.
Industry Exposure & Opportunities: Regular workshops, guest lectures, certifications are held and organized for better preparation of the students for their placements.
Placement & Career Support: It has a centralized placement cell that brings recruiters from all over various domains, providing diverse opportunities for the students and helping and aiding them in their due course

Dislikes

Too many opportunities at Once: There are so many events, clubs being held all at once that it used to become very overwhelming initially.
Faculty Teaching Styles Vary: Different faculty members have different approaches wherein we get to be sometimes more practical oriented or sometimes completely invested in theory
Large Campus Size: The campus is huge, so moving between academic blocks and hostels can consume a bit of time.

Admission:

I applied to multiple colleges but finally concluded on Lovely Professional University (LPU). While some other options were academically good, I chose LPU because it offered a much better balance of academics, infrastructure, exposure and flexibility, especially considering my profile and career goals. Comparison on Key Parameters: 1. Academics and Curriculum: Compared to other colleges I applied to, a more flexible and updated curriculum with electives, projects, internships and skill based courses. Some other colleges were more theory-oriented with fewer choices. 2. Infrastructure and Facilities 3. Exposure & Opportunities 4. Placements & Career Support Admission Process: Depends on the course but generally: UG: 10+2 with required subjects and minimum percentage PG: Relevant bachelor's degree with minimum marks

The campus is huge and clean everything is available within the campus
There are ample of sources for food everywhere in the university itself and the taste is also very good
The students here are prioritised way more than other universities/ colleges

Dislikes

The rules here are very strict and breaking them may lead to cancellation of your scholarship
The wifi doesn't work as well as stated in various videos

I just applied for SGT University,Gurgaon for the same course but rejected it because of the fee.Even the campus was not much of a sight for the fee,nor did my father approve of the hospitality he was provided so lpu became my final choice as it ticked all the boxes.

The vast multidisciplinary nature of the campus allows for significant networking and personal growth. Areas for improvement is due to the large student population some student may feel individual attention from faculty is limited.
The diverse ,multinational environment provide great culture exposure, with constant events, sports, and club activities.
Faculty member often have their strong academic background but experiences with their mentorship quality may vary. There is a push toward modern teaching with Reccomondation to further increase interactive.

Dislikes

Streaming administrative process reducing the focus on theoretical role learning.
The approach is increasingly digital and tech-driven yet it sometimes feels impersonal requiring more student-led mentorship
While the training of placement is comprehensive some student feel that the focus should be more tailored to niche high paying roles rather than mass recruitment.

Likes

Infrastructure Modern classrooms, well equied-labs, workshops,Liberary and clean, green, well-maintenaned campus.
Academic and faculty Supportive teachers,practical-focused learning, helpful labs sessions, and doubt-clearing support
Campus life diverse student crowd, cultural events, techanical fest, clubs, and a lively campus environment

Dislikes

Academic large class room size sometimes reduced individual attention and interaction with teachers
Facilities hostel and mess are high, and service feel crowed during peak hours.
Placements opportunities for diploma students are limited and need stronger industry tie-ups

Admission:

I choose lovely professional university (LPU) over other collages mainly because of it's infrastructure, practical exposure, scholarship opportunities, and overall learning envirement. While applying for diploma courses i also considered a few local private polytechnic collages and government institutions. However, many of them had limited facilities outdated labs, or fewer learning opportunities compared to LPU. One of the majorreasons for choosing LPU wqs its large and well-equiped campus, modern laboratories, workshops, and emphasis on practical-based learning, which is very important for a Diploma in mechanical engineering. LPU also offered scholarship based on LPUNEST and class 10th merit, which made the fees structure more affordable compared to some other private collages. Overall LPU Stood among other collages due to its better infrastructure, structured curriculum, practical exposure , scholarship options and easy admission process, which is why i choose it over the other collages i applied to

Expectations VS Reality about College

Likes

Infrastructure is too good. Teaching style is fantastic.
Placement opportunities is one of the major reason of admissions.
Teacher is very cooperative with students.

Dislikes

Too much work they give to do . After doing all work students doesn't have time for self study.

Admission:

I choose only this college, i didn't apply for other colleges . No , I don't get any rejection from other colleges. Admission process is too simple , there is a complete enquiry and help support community for the students query . It will go very smoothly.

The curriculum and the road map of each subject was good as it was all made on feedbacks of students
The best thing was the soft skill classes which helped me get over my stage fear and be more confident

Dislikes

The things i disliked was there was not so much attention paid to what issues students have with teachers and how they were being treadted by the teachers
The worst thing was they only prioritised money over anything

Admission:

I chose this college as i had Biology in my +2 and no other good inidan colleges allowed BCA with Biology in +2 and also my brother had already studied there so it was better for me as i would get some help and experience form him.

The quality of infrastructure is very nice. there are air conditioners in every classrooms and you are not allowed in classrooms to eat your lunch, which is also a good habit, you eat in campus area only there are grounds and other spot to eat lunch
They provide you with an app that give you notification and tells you everything regarding your classes, your attendance and everything, if you want to complain about anything you can do that on that app only so it's very helpful.
They organise many events for students to engage in and it's very helpful for students who are in stress because of their studies.

Dislikes

Security is very tight, and by tight I mean really really tight, if you live in pg then you have to get out of the university before 7 pm or they will ask you many questions.
Sometimes the faculty will ask you to fill out many forms and do things that are very senseless.

The colleges I applied for were chandigarh university, lovely professional University, banaras hindu University, college of art delhi. I was actually preparing for college of art and banaras. Hindu University cause they are one of the best universities of bfa, but because of my low marks in 12th standard I could not able to go there, and I chose lpu over chandigarh university because the reviews of lpu were very good and there were many professors who have done there bachelors from banaras university. After came to knowing the major difference of faculties in lpu and any other government college I was glad that I opted for lpu, cause professors of governments colleges does not care that much about there students they are very strict and they does not help much ( I came to know this as my senior in masters degree has completed its bachelors from college of art and I had couple fo friends in bhu and chandigarh university). The eligibilty criteria for bfa course is 50% in 12th standard only. And ther are not any cutoffs or anything you just have to be on time to take the seat. The admission experience is easy though you have to take out like 3-4 hours for it, cause when I was taking admission in lpu there was like a line, and I had to wait for every procedure.

LPU means Lovely in true sense!

Likes

I loved most the infrastructure and buildings of the university as each buildings are different and amazing.
Faculties especially of CSE are different form each other as all bring in a different variety.
Even food have umpteenth variety here as there are around 40-50 choices of food available at the university itself.

Dislikes

I have seen some students treating other students badly just because of differences.

It's fully demand supply as the year, students through LPU Nest are less, the doors for JEE rankers and 12th boards scorers are also invited. The main way to make process easy and fast is definitely through LPU Nest and that is how almost 70% students are taken at LPU.

Can you tell me about the latest cutoff and the entrance exam accepted for LPU BTech courses?

As per my knowledge, the expected LPUNEST 2024 cutoff for the BTech course is 150 to 300 marks out of 400.

LPU offers every year the National Entrance and Scholarship Test (LPUNEST) for around 150+ courses. Every year more than 75,000 students join the LPUNEST exam. Apart from the LPUNEST exam, LPU accepts CUET or JEE Main score for BTech admission.

What is the cut off marks for LPU NEST? How do we get scholarships based on it?

LPUNEST is conducted for admission to several courses. The cut-off completely depends on the course you are applying for. I did my BA LLB from LPU. The LPUNEST is of 200 marks. I scored 165 marks and easily got admission and a scholarship. The LPUNEST cut offs vary as per your category as well.
