The faculty-student relationship at Lovely Professional University (LPU) is mainly positive, with teachers generally friendly, although some may occasionally be rude. The academic structure includes 3-4 exams: two preparatory exams, one before finals, and the final exam itself. Placement opportunities appear limited, with more emphasis on freelancing rather than internships. LPU's semester fee for popular courses such as BTech, BArch, BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BDes, LLB, MBA, MTech, MSc (Agriculture), LLM, and PhD is Rs 1,20,000, while the BSc (Health and Physical Education) course costs Rs 50,000.

The total cost combining tuition and hostel fees is Rs 340,000 per year, exclusive of scholarships.
