LPU Scholarship Brackets & Phases

The percentage of scholarship offered by LPU varies program-wise as per the given table. For each of the scholarship categories offered by LPU, four brackets (Brackets 1, 2, 3, and 4) are defined. Each bracket includes specific criteria which must be fulfilled by the candidate to fall into that particular bracket. Scholarship Criteria in Bracket 1 is the strictest which means the students meeting the requirement of Bracket 1 (top bracket) get the highest scholarship and those in Bracket 2 or Bracket 3 or Bracket 4 get relatively lesser scholarships.

LPU Scholarship Phases

Admissions to various courses at LPU are done in different Phases, which are the bifurcations of the period of the admission process. The amount of the LPU Scholarship also depends on the Phase in which the candidate takes admission to the University. The amount of LPU Scholarships reduces with each passing phase.

LPU Scholarship Based on LPUNEST

LPU conducts its own entrance cum scholarship test LPUNEST (LPU National Entrance & Scholarship Test). LPUNEST forms the basis of admission eligibility and scholarships for most of the programs offered by LPU. LPUNEST forms the basis for the scholarship for a specific program depending on the fee of the program, date of admission, and performance of the student in LPUNEST.

LPU Scholarship for BTech Programs

LPU offers scholarships to students based on their JEE Main scores and NEET scores. These scholarships apply to BTech courses (both CSE and other branches).

Currently, For the MCA course the acedmic fee is 1 lakh/semester without any scholarship. There is an exam of the university which is LPUNEST . This exam for the scholarship. Scholarship depend on the score of the LPUNEST and also depend on the phase . The takes this exams multiple times , for example day 1 to 10 of the month they offers maximum 100% scholarship and after 10 to 20 they will offer maximum 80% like this . But you have to score best in the LPUNEST exam.

CSE fees or cost of studying in LPU is 2.3 lakhs a year and it is pretty reasonable as LPU doesn't charge much extra fees in the name of events or anything. Just exam fees is added on this course fees and which is there in almost all the universities. Also, my hostel fees I feel is not much as in a cost of 2 lakhs, I have been provided the best rooms and food services.

Lovely Professional University even though one of the largest university fees is still a small piece of it. Even IITs charge close to 3-4 lakhs a year and that is what LPU charges. Our fees was 2.3 lakhs for CSE on and average for each year that I paid for 4 years. Hostel fees was 1.8 lakhs per year and that depends on room category you choose.

The CSE fees at LPU Jalandhar is 2.3 lakhs a year and that is not all as we have to pay a fair bit of more as well. Event fees is also paid and exams fees are also there. In case somebody fails they have to pay re-examination fees too. So fees are right in the arc but LPU is undoubtedly worth the money.

I have enrolled in a course Ballb ( hons ) and the entire Fee structure for the 5 year without the scholarship was Rs 1200000 and if we give the Scholarship test which is LPUNEST then according to the marks the fee has to be paid i have given the test and I got 60% scholarship then my per year fee was 120000 and total fee was 600000. The examination fee of rs 3000 has to be paid along with the semester fees.

The per semester fee of Lovely Professional University B.Tech. (all specialisations including CSE) is INR 1,40,000. After availing 20% scholarship facilithy, you will get 28,000 per semester as deduction in the B.Tech. fee. On appearing in LPUNEST, you can avail scholarship facilitiy of upto 50% of the program fee.

Yes, if you have scored between 80% to 89.9% Marks in the Qualifying Exam, you will be eligible as you will get under bracket 1 or 2. Scholarship Criteria in Bracket 1 (90 to 95%) is the strictest which means the students meeting the requirement of Bracket 1 (top bracket) get the highest scholarship and those in Bracket 2 or Bracket 3 get relatively lesser scholarships.
