Should I go to LPU or Manipal University, Jaipur for BTech IT?

I visited the campus of both LPU and Manipal University for admission to the BTech IT course. I observed that LPU is one of the best private engineering colleges in Punjab. According to the World University Rankings, LPU got the 23rd rank among top universities in India in 2023 and was ranked 25th in India by the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024. Some of the highlights of LPU are given below: Placements:According to the 2023 placement, the highest package offered is up to 3 CR. The top recruiters are global brands like Apple, Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, Bank of America, Intel, BOSCH, etc. Ranking: According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024, LPU has the 25th rank in India. Fee:The fee structure of the BTech course is around INR 4.5 lakhs - 16 lakhs, depending on the specialisation.

Should I go to LPU (Lovely Professional University) or Manipal University Jaipur for a B.Tech (IT)?

As a former student of B.Tech IT at LPU, I can only provide information about my own college. Here are a few benefits of joining LPU for your B.Tech IT- Scholarships -LPU offers scholarships to those who perform well in 12th grade or various entrance exams. These scholarships continue for the entire B.Tech course. This brings down the course fee for meritorious students by a great extent. Placements-The university performs quite well in IT placements. Companies like HTC and Cognizant visit the campus for mass recruitments, and offer decent salary packages to CSE and IT graduates. Other companies recruit a lesser number of students, but they offer handsome salary packages. For a hardworking IT student, LPU offers good placement opportunities. Faculty-The IT faculty is decent, and some of the teachers are very good. Exposure-LPU is home to students from various parts of the country, and thus, it offers excellent exposure. Each student gets a platform at LPU to enhance their skills and learn new things. These are some of the many reasons I chose LPU for my B.Tech IT.

Lpu- for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid:

Fees are average. Without the scholarship, it's around 120k per semester but you'll get a good scholarship on behalf of your academics and JEE score. But the best way to take a scholarship in lpu is the exam Lpunest you'll get a lot of scholarships. I got around 42% of the scholarship so it's nice.

Internship

Our 1yr fee is around 2 two lakhs but I have an LPU scholarship so I pay around one lakh a year. And yes LPU campus does provide part. Time jobs for students of many types including office jobs and cafeteria jobs.

Lpu is best out of best

In lpu per semester fee is 120000/- But getting a scholarship in lpu is super easy. You can earn a scholarship by your board examination or lpunest or jee mains etc. I am currently in 2nd year so I cannot explain about campus jobs sorry.

Honest Review

The per semester tuition fees of Btech Information Technology is Rs.98000. At the time of admission, maximum students receive scholarships and their fees are reduced. In my case, I got a 45% scholarship and my tuition fees were reduced to Rs.53900. Talking about residential and mess, there are several options to choose for the type of hostel and mess and the charges vary. To avail extra facilities inside the campus like the gym, pools, courts, etc. separate fees should be paid.

Now I am paying around 50000 rs per semester which I think is good and amazing one. They also provide loan assistance to issue loan letter. There are in campus banks to deal with loans related isuues.

ALL ABOUT LPU

I took admission in July 2020. LPU provide us 3 phase of admission. as I took admission in the 2nd phase. i got 35% scholarship under 80-89% in +2 criteria . if I took admission in 1st phase like June month then I will get a 40% scholarship. 90%+ in 10+2 (50% in 1st phase; 45% in 2nd phase ; 40% in 3rd phase.] 80-89% in 10+2 [40% in 1st phase; 35% in 2nd phase; 30% in 3rd phase] we also get scholarships if we represent INDIA in any of the sports. there are so many quotas. where we can get a scholarship. lpu also took lpunest as their entrance exam. the top rankers also get a huge amount of scholarships. It is private university thats why it is quite expensive but they give us a huge scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course syllabus of my college was updated and ahead of time. We were also taught about soft skills and various placement training adequate. The college was also best for extra activities like sports, dance, etc. The faculties in first year were little amateurs but after passing the first year we got professional professors.

My College

Yes, the scholarships are offered that too of great amount upto 1 lacs per year. I, myself is eligible for a scholarship of 48000 per semester. Yes, the loan facility is also provided by our college, as I've not opted so I don't know much about the rates and process.

LPU review

LPUNEST is really helpful for students who have a bad financial condition but want to study in good infrastructure. You can also avail of loans from your respective banks. The fee for Punjab girl students is free.

I know a student who got full semester fee weaver due to his good performance in lpunest exam which is the entrance exam for lpu. Although i am an average student i got a total of 50000rs fee weaver in my semester fee as i took lpunest exam and also i registered in first admission phase.
