First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

NIT JALANDHAR REVIEW

Likes

wifi is good and speed is pretty decent and provided at all locations in campus
there are night canteens available open till late night
library is full of interesting books and we get full access of library

Dislikes

maintenance system is poor and documents work is very delayed
campus location is in outskirts so sometime students find it difficult to reach
limited accommodation is available so students have to face difficulty

placements are pretty decent average package of college is 14lpa and major recruiters are Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and Wipro and there is training and placement which help students in getting placements.

NIT JALANDHAR- Require some changes

Likes

Sports facilities at our college are good
Various fest and cultural events held regularly
Various academic clubs are there which enhance your learnings

Dislikes

Teachers are not upto the marks. Mostly teachers even don't have basic knowledge of there subject
Mess food can be better but it is always same .
There are not so much help sections and nobody listens to you

Placement Experience:

Brilliant Students grab the off-campus opportunities on their own in the second year. In the third year CSE, IT, and ECE got internship opportunities. Placements are good in top branches all students get almost placements. The average package vaies from branch to branch.

Truths about the NITJ

Likes

Campus life, Environment, Placements, hostels etc
the classrooms are big and centrally cooled, labs are updated,
There are various canteens and other areas to explore

Dislikes

college is on the outskirts of the city so difficult to visit the city
Mess food sometimes does not taste good

Placement Experience:

Placements are really good for the computer science branch with an average package of 1600000/- and also good for other branches. The companies come in last year for the PPO and also the placements. Some of the famous recruiters are Microsoft, google, amazon, Flipkart, oracle etc.

The thing i liked about the college is its infrastructure it is very good
Different and innovative clubs are present
The buildings in college are almost new and updated

Dislikes

I disliked the issue in first year timmings it is only till 6pm
The internet has some issues in the college
The location has some issues , it is away from the main city

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronics and communication engineering because this was the best I was getting at my percentile of 98.29, ranking 15600, the faculties are awesome very educated, and helpful, and examinations are held as minor 1 minor 2, and end-semester.

Life at NITJ

Likes

I liked the sports facilities given by our institute
Hostel is also a good part as it also provides many facilities.
Environment is also cool as compared to outside campus

Dislikes

Faculty of my department as they aren't supportive
Library timings are not good for students
Canteen in our campus charges more from outside

TPO (Training and placement office) is mainly responsible for our placements. Students from the 7th semester become eligible for the placements. Mainly top companies like Goldman Sachs have visited but no offer made from them. The highest package is given by Microsoft of 49 LPA from ECE students only. Almost 90 per cent of students get the placements. My first target is placed in a good hardware company.

Good infrastructure well maintained lecture rooms.
Timing is good and convinent , Labs are well equipped with modern instruments.
Campus area is clean and well maintained and always there is development.

Dislikes

Canteen are very limited things have limited choices.
College is outside the city and station is far.
Mess meal should be improved and better and quality improvement.

I like the coding culture at the campus .
Hostel room is very clean and fees is very less
I like the placements at our college almost all get placed

Dislikes

The internship opportunities at our college is not very promising

Placement Experience:

In 7 th semester, you get campus placements. More than 150 companies visit the NIT Jalandhar campus and no. Of the offer offered was more than 1000. In my branch, 89% were placed. I will do a job for 2-4 years and then use my knowledge and then start my own venture.

The average placement runs from 13,500,000 to 15,000,000, the highest placement this year was 1,250,000, and the lowest placement is 7,500,000. Over 90% of students get jobs each year. Is mechanical and electronics in NIT Jalandhar as good as CS in the same college?

Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
