Dislikes

Teachers are not upto the marks. Mostly teachers even don't have basic knowledge of there subject
Mess food can be better but it is always same .
There are not so much help sections and nobody listens to you

Course Curriculum Overview

Truly speaking Faculty members are not so good They are not like the teachers at National Institute. But you can get Enough time to explore things by yourself. You can get support from seniors, they are so supportive. The faculty is supportive and always nice.

Internships Opportunities

Students can grab internships from the second year off-campus in our College companies usually visit from the third year onwards. Many renowned companies come there for placement as well as internships. Dedicated students easily get the offers.

Placement Experience

Brilliant Students grab the off-campus opportunities on their own in the second year. In the third year CSE, IT, and ECE got internship opportunities. Placements are good in top branches all students get almost placements. The average package vaies from branch to branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Bank loans are easily available for financially weaker sections. The fee waiver to the academic fees varies for different categories and for different annual incomes of families. There are so many scholarships available within the college, & There is a separate department for scholarship-related queries that gives their full assistance.

Campus Life

Life at Nit Jalandhar is fantastic. For the first two years of engineering, you can explore all of your interests and can choose one of your favorites. Many festivals are organized annually like Techniti, utkansh, Bharat Dhwani, and many more. The sports facilities are good.

Admission

The admission process is purely on the basis of Jee mains exam scores different ranges of ranked persons are allowed you can easily see the last year's cutoffs on jossa official website. Reservation of seats is also there which varies for other categories.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
