Course Curriculum Overview

te cirriculum is okay.not bad.of course it is outdated like most of india's colleges. but still i would say that the cirriculum is okay ,the syllabus in some subjects is too much and uselesss. literally some topics are useless.i dont know why are we studying them.

Placement Experience

the placements are decent, not bad. A cse graduate with a good knowledge of dsa can earn 12-15 lpa .with more hardwork u can earn even more.this year the max placement was around 41 lpa. but for core branches it is much less. if u are very good in your core then maybe u can get a good placement.

Campus Life

my overall experience is just fine. i got really good friends in college so my experience is good im enjoying it.but most of the things in my college need improvement and are below average. My soccial liffe in college is okay. since my social circle is good. and i am a girl and girls are not allowed to go out of the hostel outside 20 pm which i totally hate .boys roam freely. i am in bhangra club and i love my club. the infrastruxture of college is okay. some buildings have become old and need renovation .

Hostel Facilities

3

hostels are okay. mess food is horrible sometimes .someting its okay.so basically i can its average. almost below average. bathrooms in my hostel are horrible. in the new hostels they are good. water supply is okay.rooms are okay. balconies are provided. so overall its average.

Admission

i gave jee and acc to my rank this was the college and branch. i got .so i didt have much choice. this was what i got. and tye admission process is quite simple.i applied through josaa and then i got the college and then went there for physical reporting and all the hostel allotment process was also done online only.

Faculty

2

some faculty members are genuinely good.others do not know anyhthing.the syllabus of some courses is quite genuine.while in some its like a madman made the syllabus which is impossible to cover in a sem.personally my dsa syllabus is too much and the teacher is just speaking with not a word getting into our heads.the courses are good i mean they are valuable to the field.but the syllabus is too much and the teachers are...

Over a crore package too have been inked form LPU, CSE and that itself is more than enough to justify my call to Study here. Highest package was of 1.03 crores and average still stands at 8 lakhs around. The big thing is nearly 2500 students in CSE and still all are finding a shot to try for placements.

Mid cap to large cap, every company that can afford our students services are invited to our university for hiring students. Thus far nearly 500 organizations have been invited to our university and a good bit of placements percentage is also there. No students of our university recruited have come under fire and therefore the companies which have laid faith in LPU students have kept hiring year after year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I went for CSe bcz it has best career scope. The curriculum is comprehensive but a bit heavy. It touches almost all topics but didn't go deep into latest tech like AI or Cloud computing, which was a drawback. Improvements? Definitely the teaching style. Some profs are good but many rush through the syllabus to finish it. They should include more project based learning instead of just theory exams. Exams are manageable. We have typical sem system. Timing is predictable but sometimes the schedule is very tight with no gaps between papers. Difficulty wise its okay, most students study a week before exams and manage to clear them.

But still there can't be any assurance of placement as of now untill our batch get placed successfully

Around 600 recruiters so far has hired students from LPU. Not just domestic but even international names have hired students from LPU. So, I don't think one even has to look beyond LPU for that matter. I am happy that students from here have got the opportunity to work in their dream companies and soon I will be giving interviews as I am also in my final year now.

Placement Experience:

Though when I got admission in this college, I saw the placement rates were very nice, around 95%, but maybe it was our session's fault. I passed out in 2024, and in that particular year, the placements were not as expected and as seen in the previous batch, so that was something very much disappointing because I paid so much money on a degree, only everything was good about the college, but in the end, placement matters during my session. Usually, the companies that hired for example, 10 students only hired two students.
