The brand value of NITs are very good compared to private colleges, also the campus is very good and lush green and the enviroment of top tier colleges is that matters alot for me. The placements are also bold reason for joining this college.

The nit stands at tenth place in all nits in india.its campus is good enough .and greenary is soothing and infrastructure is good and well maintained.although it is government college making it great option for everyone.

Nit jalandhar is stood at 10 place over 28 Nits I think it had a good infrastructure and campus is very beautiful if I compare with very expensive private colleges which have malls and others that's not a right comparison btw the placements are good

- Library is not open for 24 hours library open only 9AM - 5 PM

NIT jalandhar is govt college as we know .and admission process like this .you will appear in JEE mains exam and Take valid rank for this college .after this will complete jossa counselling as well as csab.

- The transparency they have in the examination systems.

- Although the infrastructure is good but it could have been better.
- The fests and festivals could have been celebrated in more cheerfully in short the budget given to the clubs to organise fests are very less to have a grand celebration.

I selected this college on the basis of it's ranking among other colleges and the location was more convinient. Also one the reason of selecting the college was that the research opportunnities in the college are very good.

- very strict attendance policy as all attendance is uploaded on erp online portal
- not very good hostel facility for the 1st year students but then after you pass first year very good hostels with good rooms are provided

To take admission in nit Jalandhar the process is done on the behalf of jee main rank , and 75 percent in class 12th is must . If you got h rank as per the last year admission trends , you have to apply in jossa and csab councelling . Then if you are selected then you will be called in the collage for physical reporting. Then the whole admission will be completed at the time of physical reporting. Tution fee or sc , st is nill they have to give only the hostel and mess fee , after all this you will start your journey in the lush green campus of NIT Jalandhar

NIT Jalandhar admission is based on JEE Mains ranks through JOSAA and CSAB. After getting a seat from counseling, you can get all the important information at nitj.ac.in the website. Reservations are available to all categories.

- Being far away from city is not a good thing as we have to travel a lot to reach markets.

Eligibility is you only have to cross the cutoff in JEE Mains exam for the college and the complete admission system in online after you complete JOSAA and CSAB counseling whicy are responsible for the allocation of seats in this college. Reservation benefits are here in terms of branch and fees like students of different categories have different cutoff for a seat and fee is quite too low for categories like SC/ST and other backward classes. Frequency of exams is decent and rest all is good. Students can see their reports online on the college ERP System and parents' can have a report of their ward time to time too. Areas of improvement in admission level is just in the time taken in offline paperwork field rest all is good.

- food availabilities.many of them are unhygenic and expensive(except nescafe but costly )
- responds from academic section for some documents or information are not good enough and delay

admission procedured in nitj is a real headache.too much paper work and online filling for both hostel and campus admission.it leads to lot of delay and no proper facilities for photocopies during admission.i got 32001 open rank in jee mains.i didnt got admission for me in nitc ,so i joined herewhich had acut off of 34k
