The course material is excellent, and there are three major examinations, two minor exams, and one final exam in one semester. Faculty members are also excellent, but some are inexperienced and very young. Students with annual incomes of less than one lakh rupees pay only 25,500 per semester, and SC/ST students also pay only 25,500 per semester. Students with annual incomes between one lakh and five lakh rupees should pay 46340 rupees per semester, and students with family incomes greater than five lakh rupees should pay 88,000 rupees per semester. Numerous scholarships, such as the NSP, Sarven Foundation, or SJE, in addition to State scholarships, are available at NIT Jalandhar.

May festivals are held on campus, including Janmashtami, Navratri Dandiya Night, Kaipoche, Technit (3 days in February), and Utkansh (probably in March). There are also numerous clubs, including Cerimnlze Dance Club. Hostel accommodations vary according to the year of the students. For example, a first-year student will receive a room with a four-seater bed, four seats, four tables, and four armoires. A second- or third-year student will receive a room in the MBH. And the student will receive a two-seat room with two beds, two nightstands, two chairs, two study tables, or one large mirror; whereas, previous year's pupils received a one-seat room with the same amenities. There is both vegetarian and vegan cuisine available in the mess, which is literally really wonderful. At the beginning of the semester, the registration procedure begins.

The minimum eligibility for NIT Jalandhar is a 12th grade diploma from any center or state board with a 75% percentage or top 20% percentile in the board. For NIT Jalandhar, we must take the JEE Mains exam, which is offered twice a year. We must pass with a good percentile at list 95 pulse. If you are a resident of Punjab, you receive some relaxation in the entrance requirements.
