First thing i like about this campuse is its beautiful like really beautiful.
Here some teachers are really good and helpful which encourages for better performance in every field
Students can get so many scholarship opportunities once they join this institute like for students living in jk or students with good cgpa.

Dislikes

Professors are not that good as expected,need to understand concepts from youtube
This is quite difficult to afford for a middle class family but there are fee waiver also
Hostels are not that good and have only fans not even cooler so it is difficult in summers washrooms are also not well mantained food is also not that good overall hostels are very unhygienic and are not well mantained

Amazing campus Life at NITJ

Likes

Amazing cultural and tech fests and club events
Student-teacher communication is very good
Amazing peer groups and other campus faciltities

Dislikes

The minimum 75 percentage attendance criteria
College is far away from city(approx. 12 km)
College WIFI is not available everywhere

Placement Experience:

Students become available for campus placemnts in their 7th semester and mostly all big tech companies such as google microsoft amazon and startups such as flipkart , cred and core comapnies such as Trident , BPCL etc. visit the campus . This year till now more than 704 students have been placed out of 950 total eligible students .Google giving the highest domestic pakage of 64 lacks .About 90% of all the students get placed .Iam also looking forward to get a campus placement in technical role.

About environment and facilities of lecture theatre
Campus life is average and there is many shop in campus
Faculty is good they give proper support

Dislikes

Campus is situated in outside from city so it take 30 minutes to go there
Some professor are strict about attendence
Placements in lower branch is not good in lower branch

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Around 150 companies visited here and give around 2000 offers. The highest package from Amazon is 1.3 cr and the minimum is 3lpa from Trident. Around 70% of students are placed.

College is out of city so difficult to visit city and shopping malls

Placement Experience:

After 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placement. Physics wallah, Asian paints, Deloitte, Microsoft, TCS, and Infosys offer approximately 300 jobs in total. Almost 80 % of students placed, I want to work in the company.

What's inside NIT Jalandhar? [Ground Report]

Likes

The way of teaching is really good
Hostel staff is very friendly and caring.
Senior are fun to interact with. You can rely on them.

Dislikes

The campus is really small you can't stroll.
1st year is provided with 4 seater hostel room which I didn't like.
Boring useless subjects are there in 1st year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was genuinely interested in computer science and engineering and I wanted to do it from some Nit or IIT. The student is really less in NITJ. Total of 169 students of CSE are there and overall 1000 students are there in 1st sem overall of all branches. The faculty is mostly from IIT postgraduates. Their teaching is subtle and nice. Currently due to covid the whole academic schedule is messed up hence my 1st year went by in 6 months

Likes

Lecture Theatre, No restriction to roam in campus during night for boys, Greenery , open air theatre.
Average campus life, Friendly culture, Good infrastructure.
Branch change facility after 1st year, Average placements.

Dislikes

Faculties are qualified but do not teach well. some are good but rest are not that good.
Curriculum is pretty hectic. Exams after every 1.5 months.
Less focus of faculties over placements , strict 75 percent attendance criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got CRL 36539 rank in JEE Mains examination. As per my rank, B.Tech in ICE in this college was the best possible alternative as I wanted to opt for a circuital branch. The placement record of this college is pretty much decent which assured me of my placements and hence I decided to take admission here. Faculty: student ratio is sufficient enough if you want to learn or to do some projects you can always seek guidance from them. Faculties are well qualified though the teaching methods are not that much good. There are 2 minor exams of 20 marks and one End-semester exam of 50 marks and left 10 marks are for assignments.

I like a club name team cultural affairs that organised all types of events in campus
I like Central library , they have all types of books .

Placement Experience:

In NITJ there PRs (Placement Representative) are selected from each branch there PR Spread information about the arriving companies to students according to their skills and CGPA. In our college ECE has the highest package of 1.2CR (where avg is 15lkahs for its branches and others are 7.5 lakh avg)

I mostly like a curriculum activity and so many fest happening

So my college placement is excellent. Placements started in mid of the 7th semester and many top MNC companies visited our campus and hired a student and select them according to their skills in that field. the companies that visited in our campus like Amazon, Microsoft, tcs, Wipro, Infosys, trident, reliance, Vardhman etc. Most students opted and sit in its company because it offers a high package recently on my campus a student gets the highest package of 1.2 crores and 54 lacs. so many students get a good package in it field. and in my branch highest package is 18 lakh given by Trident and the average package is 7.85 lakh. so this is an interesting thing that you also will be able to get a huge amount if you work hard. My plan is also to get a job in it company because my interest is in web series, and designing a machine so that's why I opted for software companies.

6th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. Google, Microsoft, Samsung, Reliance, Trident, and many more companies are offering different jobs with around 20 LPA or more depending on your skills. 1.2 Crore is the highest package, and 11-12 LPA is the average package offered by the companies. 70-75% of students are getting placed. Going with the own Startups.

Teachers are really supportive , help us to develop our understanding better
Campus life is great. There are 3 canteens present in our college.
Infrastructure is really good and development is going on.

Female ratio is a little bit low as compared to boys.

The atmosphere for the students is quite motivating and also clubs are the real things to enjoy

You will be eligible for campus placement in 4th year and can apply for an internship in your core branch from 3rd year onwards .many big companies will give you chance and the percentage of students getting placed is highly variable also it depends on your hard work too. Mechanical in NIT Jalandhar:

4-5 senior faculty members are excellent. Every ad-hock is very poor and useful in any way. Undergraduate research opportunities are limited, but you can participate in mechanical teams and learn a lot at international-level competitions and race events, or you can start your own. Self-knowledge is the only source of knowledge. If you want, you can get the most out of your knowledge and experience by leaving here. In terms of numbers, placement is excellent. For a long time, the campus has been dominated by PSUs and automobile companies. This includes excellent companies involved in the core design, the power sector, and the energy sector. They don't go there very often, but the overall placement is excellent.

CSE: Students have good grades and get good jobs as a result of the market boom. Some students are very good learners who work hard for their studies and knowledge, but this type of student is between the ages of 8 and 10. The remaining 80 people dance, sing, and participate in other activities.

ECE: Faculty members are friendly and helpful. Students are exceptional. Placements are good, and some students study the entire CSE curriculum to get the job. If you want to come here, you must choose with your mind, consider all aspects, and think wisely.
