Likes

The way of teaching is really good
Hostel staff is very friendly and caring.
Senior are fun to interact with. You can rely on them.

Dislikes

The campus is really small you can't stroll.
1st year is provided with 4 seater hostel room which I didn't like.
Boring useless subjects are there in 1st year.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was genuinely interested in computer science and engineering and I wanted to do it from some Nit or IIT. The student is really less in NITJ. Total of 169 students of CSE are there and overall 1000 students are there in 1st sem overall of all branches. The faculty is mostly from IIT postgraduates. Their teaching is subtle and nice. Currently due to covid the whole academic schedule is messed up hence my 1st year went by in 6 months

Class Size: 135Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure depends on your house's annual income. If it's above 5lpa then you'll be charged around 7-9lakh for the degree. If it's between 1 to 5 lpa then 5lakh Below 1lkh then 3 lahks. These are including hostel fees

Campus Life

I've attended UTKAANSH, TECHNITI and normal treasure hunt fests. They were spectacular. UTKAANSH and Techniti happened within one month gap in the month of March. Books in the library are provided for 1 whole semester so we can study for semester exams free of cost. The classroom is provided with a blackboard, smart classes and AC. I don't know much about sports yet as I don't play much. I'm currently a part of ZEAL society and TCA. They're one of the biggest clubs at the moment in NITJ

Admission

The admission process was smooth. Admission is done through JOSSA and you need to qualify for JEE prior to that. The counselling fee is charged which is 35k. And then partial admission fees are charged after counselling. No such improvement is needed in the counselling process. It's smooth

A student's perspective for his college

Course Curriculum Overview:

From the begning i was always into tech and computers i liked to make my school persentation on my pc and that's the main reason for taking the stream CSE . The curriculum makes you ready for thr real world application by providing classes for eveything that a student is facing problem. If you ask me for the suggestion then some teachers should change their tecahing methods so that they will help the student in a better way . The frequency and timing of the exam goes like the college conducts two internal exams for the internal marks known as MST and one final exam and the difficulty level is medium

Placement Experience:

after 3rd year or maybe in 6th semester many companies visited and very few visited both happens maintain your cgpa make your cgpa above 8 might be difficult but you might get adv highest or average doesnt matter then see how much package you getmaintain cgpa fill out the placement form also they charge 9000 in third year for your placement and dcpd trainign maybe - 50 percent placed well placement is poor after degree - internships job

Course Curriculum Overview:

Did some research and found that AI/Ml is quite popular around the globe and saw alot of future opportunity in this field. The msts were of 40 marks each with 60 mins to complete the exam and finals were of 60 marks with 3 hrs time limit. However student were allowed to leave the hall once half time is over.

When I'm in NITJ see what I got.

Placement Experience:

I think from 5th or 6th semester students can able to eligible for placement. Don't know exact data about the company company coming but there is good placement rate. 1.3CR highest package this year branch chemical engineering. In my Branch ICE there is more than 95% placement rate.

Placement Experience:

In LPU placement process usually start from 6th semester onwards. Many good companies come to campus like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, Amazon and few product based also. Some startups also visit. The no. of offers are quite large every year because batch size is big. Highest package I heard was around 40 LPA but that is very rare, only 1-2 students get. Average package is around 5–6 LPA for CSE branch. For other branches it is little bit low. Almost 80-85% students who are seriously preparing gets placement from college. College also provide placement training and soft skills classes which help in interviews.
