Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the Computer Science branch as I have a deep interest in technology stuff and also it is one of the flourished sectors in today world. The student-faculty ratio is 1:50 and most of the faculty is highly qualified. Exams occur two times one mid-sem and one end sem along with some regular assignments.

Class Size: 160Course Fees: INR 176000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities are available after the second year. most companies offer a stipend above 75000 per month. The internship start in the summer before the fourth year. the internship is also available in the 8th semester for the duration of 6 months.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good for the computer science branch with an average package of 1600000/- and also good for other branches. The companies come in last year for the PPO and also the placements. Some of the famous recruiters are Microsoft, google, amazon, Flipkart, oracle etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships and fee waivers according to the family income of the student and also student loans are easily available. The internships come in the third year of the course and get started in the summer before the fourth year.

Campus Life

Annual fest are UTKANSH and TECHNITI along with various festival celebrations and sports events. Classes and labs are centrally cooled and have a seating capacity of 120 per class. Also most of the sports like cricket, football, chess, basketball, volleyball etc are available. The are also various clubs and communities one can join.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms of the hostel are two-seater for the second and third years, four-seater for the first year and single-seater for the fourth year and postgraduate degrees. Mess food is better than average. one table one chair and beds are available in the rooms of the hostel. Fees of the mess are 25000 per semester and additional 10000 in security (only for the first year)

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

To be eligible for admission one has to clear the required cutoff of the different courses in JEE Mains Exam. After that Josaa conduct the counselling process and after counselling physical verification occur at the institute.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Honest is the best Policy

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

NIT JALANDHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is interactive and have added various new thing like in the engineering graphics subject they have added the software like autocad instead of traditional drawings... And in eme they provide the real life assignments projects . The exams are of approx 3 hrs and difficulty level is what that is taught in class

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

Atharv ki dastan nit ki kahani

I got 28102 rank in jee mains and 24576 rank in jee advanced My primary goal was to get into any iit but I can't get due to my rank if I would have got any iit o would have chosen it over In josaa counselling I got iiit bhopal cse which was quite a good option because bhopal is not so distant from home and also has good placement but it has many problems like no permanent campus and hostels etc and very high fees which I can't afford So in next round I got nit jalandhar ice over it because it is a cirtcutal branch enough options in tech and core both morover it comes with a nit tag and less fees and I want clg in north...Read More
