IIT Bombay Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus placements are the best at IIT Bombay with average package going to 22 lacs CTC per annum and 4cr per annum as highest package as of last years data. All the top comapanies in each field come to recruit from IIT Bombay like Apple, Google, Walmart, Deloitte, Bain and company, Ernst & Young and many more.

The placements are good, although 70% of the class is placed is non core but the core jobs are also good, the top recruiter being L&T, many student head over for indian engineering services and also to indian civil services.

Placements are very good. Students in 4th year (8th semester) are eligible for campus placements. 364 companies visited for campus placements in academic year 2023-24. 1650 job offers to students were made. Average annual CTC was INR 23.50 LPA and top recruiting sector was Engineering & Technology. 22 job offers of above INR 1 Crore was made. Around 75% students got placed in academic year 2023-24.

Placement is one of the reason why students sacrifice their school days for a single exam. And if you get here you have done 80% of your job. Even if you're avg ( YOU NEED TO BE ATLEAST AVERAGE) out here you would land up with a job which is much better than jobs in private college. Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

courses are well versed with students understanding and are very friendly with every mind. I really like how they teach everything around engineering and about the world lik finances, geography, VLSI designs. Overall it is dependent on studentd wether they see it or not

Placement of IIT Bombay is very good . This is also one of the main reasons why everyone dream to take admission here. Students become eligible for placement in 4th year of College and they start getting Intern in the end of 2nd year . Mostly end 3rd year. Most of World top companions offered placement to my college students with highest of 4Cr. Package last year. Avg. Package is in between 30-35 LPA. 90 percent students get placement. Students are elgible to sit in campus placements in their last year i.e, 4th year and should not have any back in any course. Around 400 companies visit IIT Bombay for recruitment process with total of around 1700 placement offers in phase 1. Companies like Quadeye, Apple, McKinsey, Jane street, amazon, microsoft, Google, P&G, TATA, Jaguar, Morgan stanly, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting group, etc. Average package offered is around 23.26 LPA, highest package being INR 3.67 CPA. Placements are offered invarious profiles like IT, core research and engineering, finance, consulting, marketing, product management, etc. Approximately, around 80% of students got placed. My plan after graduation is to get placed in management, business, or finance sector.
