Relevance is lower as succulents prefer going to banking sector or consulting sector more. Although for a person going into their core branch's career it's well versed but can still be improved with more computer based courses and lot of things are repetitive in the labs and overlapping in some closures. This can be improved

The exam timing is pretty good, there is constant pressure but not too much of it, so a student is always in his performing stage. The courses are pretty much relevant to real world, professors emphasise on such concepts too. A field of imrpovement can be practical exposure, in the industry.

Introduction to branches are given to the first year students , so they understand their course in a better way and develop interest in it. Class activities are also conducted regularly for engaging the students. Through practicals and labs students learn about real world applications of studies.

Civil Engineering is a very renowned course and doing it from one of the top institutes in India makes it very good. My interest in high-rise buildings, sea bridges etc influenced me to choose this course. The curriculum prepares us for real-world applications very well. You can also opt for some specialization after doing this course. Teaching methods of all the faculties are very good.

Because of relative grading in exams, there is some sort of unhealthy competition among batchmates and friends to score more than other. This creates tense environment during the exam time too. The frequency of exam should be reduce , or time for semester should be increase , it will give time for learn something other than subject

The interest to learn about civil engineering, structures, infrastructures attracts me to choose the course. The curriculum is designed so that one can get knowledge of their respective fields. There are also courses of management, economics other than core so that one can understand about these crucial fields too. The courses are well designed and makes one prepare for real world applications also, but the delieveing of lectures by some professors can be improved. Also the lecture questions and practice questions are way too easy than those that are asked in exams which makes exams a bit difficult. Exams are held two times in a semester that are mid-sem and end-sem and also there are two quizzes. So, in total there are 4 exams -2 quizzes (generally 10% each weightage) and 2 exams (40% each).

I choose CIVIL ENGINEERING because it's kind of into a world where our creativity is visible thruogh our eyes and so many other things. These help us to solve the regular problems of the society and help is to grow in different aspects. It will be nice if the consideration of time allocated to each labs are useful and no watse in time. The exams are easy for those who prepare really weel and the others can't do that much good as they do in their plus1 and plus2

I have chosen this course because of the great scope in this field. Faculty: student ratio is 1:20 Faculties are highly qualified, and all have done Ph.D. in their respective fields. The difficulty of exams is moderate. In each Semester, there are 2 term exams in the interval of 2 months
