- Safety on the campus is awesome with almost no safety concern.
- Peer group: The peer group and set of students that surround you are the best among the country and the energy inside the campus is amazing.
Dislikes
- The gender ratio is quite bad, very few girl students for such a prestigious institute as IITB
- The hostel rooms for 2nd and 3rd year UG students are very bad.

Placement Experience:
Placement system is very organised and respectful to both the student and the company. I feel there are a lot of hurdles to go through but they are reasonable and needed to ensure a smooth and efficient placement season for students and the companies to find what they're looking for. The internship season in the third year was also good but there is a lack of awareness in people about what to do to get a nice placement and counselling should be provided

- The lecture halls are equipped with modern technology, high speed internet connectivity and charging sockets on each desk.
- The canteens as well as restaurants inside the campus are quite affordable for college students.
Dislikes
- Many washrooms in the hostels have still not been renovated.
- Official work is quite slow and time consuming. Also the planning of events is not efficient and many times the activities clash with each other.
Placement Experience:
Placement opportunities at IIT Bombay are very good. But getting a high paying job depends on an individual - how skilled and qualified they become after 4 years. If you lay focus on academics and build your personality with all the resources and networks you have IIT Bombay, you'll definitely land at a very good place in your life. There are also startups and business opportunities. Entrepreneurship is encouraged by the departments.

- The sports facility and how seriously they are taken.
- The different clubs and each club actively oraganising events.
Dislikes
- The boys to girl ratio is low about 4:1 which leaves many people single.
- A bit of academic pressure is here to perfom better.

After 7th semester students are eligible for placements. The detailed placement reports are on the internet at the websites. Companies like google apple samsung visit campus for placements every year. More than 70% students are placed. After getting degree I would like to be part of a startup .

- There is a lot of freedom and very much gender equality, we can go out and roam in campus at any time of the hour wearing shorts or anything irrespective of wheather we are a boy or a girl
- A lot of freedom in lectures, most of the profs dont care about attendances
Dislikes
- The time for classes is a bit off, too long breaks in the middle, labs in the night
- A lot of academic pressure and too much cultural stuff hapoening at the same time
Placement Experience:
The placements are good, although 70% of the class is placed is non core but the core jobs are also good, the top recruiter being L&T, many student head over for indian engineering services and also to indian civil services.

- The campus life is excellent, there is freedom for students in the campus
- The lab facilities are top class and they provide good learning experience

- Hostel rooms can be better , they should renovate

From 7th semester students can be eligible for placements. World leading companies like google, Microsoft, amazon, etc come for placements in iit bombay. This year the average package was around 23 lpa and multiple students got 1cr + annual package

the placements are one of the hoghest in the country and are always regarded and a bench mark for other colleges. the students can appky for proper placements from the 7th semesters. top comapies visted the campus every here for placements like Apple, Google, Microsoft, TCS, Infosys are some of the leading companies The highest placement is around 4cr by jane street trading firm and the average is 23.5 lpa and the previous year 22 students baged 1+ cr placement Above 85% of the students are placed i have a plan to build a business

Placements are very good. Students in 4th year (8th semester) are eligible for campus placements. 364 companies visited for campus placements in academic year 2023-24. 1650 job offers to students were made. Average annual CTC was INR 23.50 LPA and top recruiting sector was Engineering & Technology. 22 job offers of above INR 1 Crore was made. Around 75% students got placed in academic year 2023-24.

- Excellent palcement for MSc statistics course.Almost all students who apply for placement get placed.
- Excellent faculty.Teachers are humble and approachable

- 80% attendance is compulsory otherwise you wont be allowed to sit for exams
- Course structure needs to be revised and should be made more industry oriented.Currently it is more theoretical
Placement Experience:
Msc statistcs course has excellent placement.Almost all students get placed with average package of around 16 lpa. In year 2023, 42 students sat for placement out of which 39 got ppaced. Companies like Citi bank ,Accenture ,etc. come. For placements

- Hostel food is good and you get fruits and eggs daily and milk also.
- There are many things to go and explore inside the campus like Powai lake and Sameer hills.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is good here overall this year 75 percentage of students are placed and many choose to go higher study and you will get chance to go abroad via student exchange program. So you can choose this college.

- One of the best college in india in academics as well in extracurricular ( no doubt)
- Best place to train yourself, You'll meet people who are much smarter than you, you need to constantly push yourself

- Academics, if you think you can surpass all by studing a day night before exam, you may be wrong
- Placement - only some top cream layer of students grab extraordinary placements, but still better than any other college in India
Placement Experience:
Placement is one of the reason why students sacrifice their school days for a single exam. And if you get here you have done 80% of your job. Even if you're avg ( YOU NEED TO BE ATLEAST AVERAGE) out here you would land up with a job which is much better than jobs in private college.
