IIT Bombay Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Indian Institute of technology Bombay, best college of India. As a well developed curriculum which concentrate on overall development of a student apart from one's academic. Curriculum focusing on everyday problems and helping find out solution at the same time. Frequency of the exam is pretty well with sufficient time for preparation and all. Multiple lab session and experimental learning is one specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course.

when i was little i had seen ironman movies and from that time i had intreset in tech specially the ones which have minor details and hence i have chossen EE. as i have said before KC sir was nice and he was the prof of EE103 and they shown us lab s of different parts pf EE. timing of examination is 2 hours.

Almost 75% students are getting job through college. Students who are in last semester of their degree course are able to site in placement of college. Many companies from india and also companies from outside the india are also come to college placement. Total 364 companies were come to placement session of 2024 and that made job offers, 1475 offers were accepted by the students. Also my plan is to get best job through college placement session.

The overall Placement of SJMSOM is very Good. Our seniors have cracked good package offers from different top companies like Flipkart, PNG, Nestle, etc. almost every students got placed with a good amount of packages. The highest package offered till now is about 32 Lakhs per annum and average package is around 18-19 LPA.

See you can't imagine the no of comapnies you get , they desperately chooose you and honeslty if you are a girl you are living your best life my dear , ofc you have to study , be smart do everthing req than only you get a good placement , but yes if you do everthing do hardwork a lot than college give you a lot of opportunities , companies from every fielf every domain comes here , even for interships we have companies all you need to do is hardwork to get them . Trust me there is lo of opportunity avaibalbe, for internship companies starts coming from 5th sem and placements occurs in dec in last year of college .

Materials Science is a blooming field in every industry. And the curriculum at IIT Bombay makes it so that we learn all the relevant stuff. The curriculum is well designed so that we can use the concepts we learned when faced with real life problems. There is an exam every 2 months. And they are somewhat on the easier side.

Communication design is broad and provides a great understanding of several different areas of design - definitely, the stream that is the least limiting to an individual. Faculties structure courses in a way that prepares you for both client work and future research work. Exams are few, most grading is done through assignments. Course curriculum could probably be revamped slightly to better align with advancements in design.

Placements are satisfactory. 6th sem onwards students go for placements. There are over 100 200 companies and more than thousand of offers. Almost 90% students get placed and pthers go for highe studies.

Campus placements in iitb is very satisfactory. There are a lot of national and international companies that come for placement and give very nice packages. Highest packages go upto 4crores but if a student is not serious then iitb doesnt guarantee placements.

Placements are relly good . Many students get more than 1 cr package and the some students get offered earlier than the placements that is pre placement offer itself and around 2000 students participate every year in th eplacements.
