LIFE AT IITB

To be very honest like other i was also attracted to be the part of "IIT" and didn't want to loose opportunity so Whatever was available at my JEE adv. rank I took , and honestly it's not that bad because of the opportunities i got i explored myself a lot . Curriculam not only in civil but roughly for all dept. is same , you have to reg for fix no of dept courses along with that you have to also sign up for courses for you choice which can be anything like manangement , ENT , design or coding related irrespective of your dept , you can also take minor in other courses it's like an extra degree you can get along with your btech degree . And exams here are held roughly in every 2 weeks , many times in each week , dw they are pop quizes and exams are conducted 2 times one mid sem and other end sem , scores of every exam assignment quizes are counted for grade calculation

interships are offered in 5th sem they are the summer internship and around dec we also have winter internship avalible open for students of 3rd and 2nd year even , Stipends varies accoding to companies the early companies are good one and offer really good stipend like really alot all you must work is for you resuem building which is done thorughout the year having a por , wokrking for projects and comeptitions hackathons , depending upon the inerest you get all opportunities available here to build resume .

See you can't imagine the no of comapnies you get , they desperately chooose you and honeslty if you are a girl you are living your best life my dear , ofc you have to study , be smart do everthing req than only you get a good placement , but yes if you do everthing do hardwork a lot than college give you a lot of opportunities , companies from every fielf every domain comes here , even for interships we have companies all you need to do is hardwork to get them . Trust me there is lo of opportunity avaibalbe, for internship companies starts coming from 5th sem and placements occurs in dec in last year of college .

About the fees mostly it is fixed and is rougly 1.4 lakhs per sem and You can also avail ther scholarships available here like on the basis of family income criteria or merit based. Through which either your half fees gets cancelled or a complete waive of fees . Along with that you have to also pay for other allowences like hostel , mess fees this is included in that 1.4 lakh . For ST, SC caterogies there is no tution fees alotough they are suppose to pay for the hostel and other allowences .

Moodi being at top ASIA'S largets college fest , where lot of students from differnt college comes , it's a event now of 3 day before it was for 4 days , lot of concerts , famous celebs comes and so many fun activities take place, Techfest - IIT being a tech intitute has to lead at first guys it is also aisi's largets tech festival where robo wars occurs best robots from different countries compete here , Alot of tecg clubs are alos there like UMIC - making self driving drones , cars ,MRT making Marsrover , AUV , and sooo sooo so many , fun clubs like ISC sports council yes u might have heard GC in chichore movie yes it takes place here where different hostels compete and become the "baap of insti" a fun slang used here .

We reg for the hostel even the people living in mubai opts for that because sometimes we have late night classes or some club acitivities . The room is shared by 2 students , we have all the facilities from free internet to hot water 24*7 , hostels are inside the campus only mostly 1km away from lecture hall , we travel in insti using bicycle and the quality of meal we are served meal 4 times a day and it has everthing in it from fruits milk to sports salad a well balance meal we also have gala dinner once in a sem and tea party with lots of tasty food .

you migh have heard the perks of being an "IITian" so did I , a kid fasinated by pictures of college , coaching tecahers casually saying that iit is best ..And after spending like 2 yr here i feel yes it is different , a differnt life different culture my personality between these kids chnaged completely in one yr , I can't compare this college to any other but yes if you ask me why not IITB or IITM or any other iit than yes , moodi techfest they are pur events are they are asia's largest college fest ,not only that se i fell studies and exploring that could have been done in other IIT's too , but i didn't get the cs dept in that colleges too so I thought to pick best college irrespective of branch .

Depending upon courses the class is divided into sections , in my department it is roughly a class of 50 and we have 3 sections and each section has different prof . Tkaing about exam at IITB it's obv that it will be challenging the problem we are asked are new and different made by prof himself which you can't find in books or resources , Scoring can be tough but attending the classes will help a lot to get you a good pointer , Here we have relative grading system bascially another challenging thing to get good grade it feels competitive but i think fun once in starting liek 1st yr it feels worng but later we realise the fun of sharing bond with classmate

There are so many beautiful memories made in night here , I think people here are night owl mostly they don't sleep here on time all canteens of different hostel are open till 4 midnight and there are so many outlets too like dominos , chayos and CCD , cafe 92 , gulmohar restaurant inside here in campus , dept also have cafes and prices of food are so minimal and affordable , we don't have any restrictions to roam no entry exit time we are free even boys are allowed in girls hostel but not in night time , we are given so much freedom which i think is the best part of this college when o compare to other colleges .
