The course curriculum is very much relevant as it goes step by step in increasing complexity teaching the right concepts at right times , this influenced me to chose this college. The courses offers a variety of areas to think upon and prepare us for various real world challenges The course curriculum can be improved in the sense of streamlining it and not going too out of the box. Exam frequency is around 2 weeks and the difficulty level is moderate

College provides good intership opputunities Companies like google , microsoft , idea forge and many more offer various roles such as developer , research engineer etc The stipend is around 15,000 per month Various project such as automated cleaning bots etc are results of this

The campus placements at iit Bombay are good , we can apply for any company irrespective of our branch Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester onwards There are no companies that visited iit bombay but did not offer The highest package ever recorded was around 4.5cr, it was in Fintech ( developing algorithms) 75-80 percent of the students get placed every year My plan is to sit for placements in the companies iam interested in after my degree

The year wise fee at IIT Bombay is 3,06,000,it is not increasing and fixed for a batch. For general category Tution fee is around 2,14,000 per year , mess fee is 45,000 and the hostel fee is 47,000. For sc/st there is free messing and fee remision of about 2/3of general category fee. Iit Bombay also offers merit cum means scholarship and also institute sc/st scholarship

IIT Bombay hosts a world wide renounced tech fest called tech fest iit bombay , generally held in December All the relevant books are available and they can be accessed / booked through the website or through physically going to the library The classrooms have smart screens which aids in understanding IIT Bombay's gymkhana is one of the best and provides room for all most all the sports There are student run social groups ( clubs) such as abhyuday and team zero which focus on social development and zero waste respectively, their is stundent support services for mental well being of students

I applied for other iit's also but choose to stick with iit bombay because of the amount of resources , clubs , tech teams and the professors here. I did get rejected from iiit hyderabad which has a separate entrance exam , it is mainly because I was underprepared The addmission process for my college is through jee mains followed by advanced Jee main percentile should be above 94 for qualifying for advance and to choose my course you advance rank should be below 2200

The faculty to student Ratio is generally dependent on the type of course , on an average it's about 1:15 . The names of the professors i liked are joseph john and swapnil mahajan , the reason I liked them is because of their explanation skills and their grip over the concept . I did not like anu narasimhan as she is a bit arrogant towards the students For every course there are around 2-3 quizzes and midsem , endsem . Very few people tend to fail , the courses are very much relevant to our branches

There are gym's in every hostel, central library , very much accessible they generally close at 11pm The cafetaries and canteens are open till 4am There are no. Hostel and campus timings The famous hangount places are terrace of energy building , gymkhana , aromas , sameer hill , It's very safe to roam at night We roam all night without any worries
