- Nice environment of the clubs and tech teams
- Lot of facilities , good infrastructure and good library
- Nice faculties that are always ready to help an approachable
Dislikes
- If you are from financially low background , it can be tough
- Buys hostiles are part very good Very congested
- Some courses can be very rigorous and tough
Placement Experience:
Placements are satisfactory. 6th sem onwards students go for placements. There are over 100 200 companies and more than thousand of offers. Almost 90% students get placed and pthers go for highe studies.

- Very vibrant culture, there is always something or other going on that you can take part in.
- Very relevant courses and also you can approach professors for help
- There are several clubs and tech teams that you can take part in and learn other stuff
Dislikes
- Sometimes people are very very competitive
- You may feel inferior because everyone around you is topper
- Mumbai weather can be headache sometimes
Placement Experience:
Campus placements in iitb is very satisfactory. There are a lot of national and international companies that come for placement and give very nice packages. Highest packages go upto 4crores but if a student is not serious then iitb doesnt guarantee placements.

- course are really good and tough . Nice faculty also.
- Infrastructures are huge and big . huge grounds
- Good enough faculty and fests are really impresive.
Dislikes
- really hard and tough exams to score . can be out of syllabus too.
- sometimes leopard is being seen in the campus which is dangerous
- gender ratio is 1:4 around and politics is huge
Placement Experience:
Placements are relly good . Many students get more than 1 cr package and the some students get offered earlier than the placements that is pre placement offer itself and around 2000 students participate every year in th eplacements.

- Everywhere inside campus one can find canteens and small restaurants and dhabas where one can enjoy great food with affordable and very cheap price
- Powai area is very good and nearby heeranandani where one can go and enjoy.
- Facilities here are up to the mark whether it is sports, music and other things all are so good.
Dislikes
- Sometime foul smell come maybe it is from dumpyard.
- They are not allowing us to use bike or any vehicle but bicycles are allowed only
- When you enroll getting to know about tech involve in admission process to getting password of wifis of campus may be tedious as there is less flexibility.
Placement Experience:
Placement here are good as our senior batch almost all students got placed two got placed in ola batteries, some made to tata and yaa all went to good companies. I am planning for the placements here .

- I like the infrastructure off the IIT Bombay
- It is full of filled with great infrastructure and nature
- The sports in IIT Bombay is good ,they her professional trainer for each sport
Dislikes
- I sacrificed my health and happiness to get into IIT Bombay
- The timing in IIT Bombay is to cruel the you will some projects till night
- The ratio of boys to girls in IIT Bombay is 10: 1 in that case my girls not getting into IIT Bombay
Placement Experience:
After completing the 1 sem of the 4th year you are eligible for the placement and there are various companies that will make offers and more then 75 percentage of the people will be placed during the placement

- Campus Life exploration of different places near outside the IIT Bombay
- Quality of food in the mess tiffin services are too good 😊
Dislikes
- Some of the professors are too strict in the grading policy and too serious and difficult to interact
- The costs near IIT Bombay are too high compared to the costs of the same near our native village and coming to canteens inside IIT they are cheaper but lesser quality of food.
Placement Experience:
For placements in the 7,8 semesters students become eligible for campus placements where as for internship students are eligible in 5,6 semesters for getting experience how companies give work to employees and if they are impressed with your performance they can offer pre placement offers .
Top many companies have visited like Quadye, Microsoft, Google, oracle, samsung, DTL...

- I loved the greenery in the campus and the whole campus is just a very beautiful place to explore in the initial days. The buildings are huge and the view of powai from the terrace and powai lake is just beautiful to watch
- The faculty and mentorship is also very good there are teaching assistants for all the courses and the faculty are experts in that field they are PhD scholars in top universities and are carrying their research in IIT Bombay
- The gymkhana facility and academic facilities are top notch, we have AC libraries and 24*7 open reading halls and the sports equipment is also very well built and the infrastructure is also very good.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the hostel. The size of room is small in many hostels and is a bit congested. and the food in mess is okayish which can be improved
- Since there is a lot of greenery and some hostels are near a lot of trees sometimes snakes might appear near hostels which are needed to be taken care of.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is well developed which helps in more of a interdisciplinary thinking than sticking to the major we are trying to pursue which helps us in thinking out of the box. Although I would recommend to decrease the time that we are supposed to spend on these courses and in that time give us a project to choose which helps us in real world applications so that we can get a good understanding and how to approach such projects. All the basics are well kept in all the courses but it would be better to some work load in a course and give a challenging project instead.

- Faculty experience is the best,they are experts in their own fields
- Campus engagement is the most fun part,there are many connections made along the way
Dislikes
- Curriculum is a bit rigorous which results in no free time for students
Placement Experience:
From 7 semester students become eligible for csmpus placements. Highest package goes to 4 crores and average up till 23.5 lakhs. I would sit for placements after my degree. Placements percentage is almost 95 percent.

- The flexibility in academics and to choose other domain is what I appreciate most
- The availability of different club nurishing various kind of culture
- The great networking with seniors and alumni
Dislikes
- being very rigid regarding discipline that a professor can fail you in a course.
Placement Experience:
Placements are excellent. this year even after the recession the number of the students get placed was high and also they grabbed a decent package. Since being a second year students I do not possess these statistical data

- Opportunity for growth and the mindset of people is very well versed and developed.
- College festivals are very fun and many celebrities come for performances and interviews.
- Professors and staff are great and will answer any doubt you may have and also guide you on your career.
Dislikes
- Probably the sports are not that focused as they should be. But are fine nevertheless
- There is lack of awareness among students about the electives and courses to be taken.
- Hostel wise segregation is bit random and makes it difficult for people to mingle and generate ideas but still works to an extent
Placement Experience:
Placement system is very organised and respectful to both the student and the company. I feel there are a lot of hurdles to go through but they are reasonable and needed to ensure a smooth and efficient placement season for students and the companies to find what they're looking for.
The internship season in the third year was also good but there is a lack of awareness in people about what to do to get a nice placement and counselling should be provided
