Want a good life with placement, so get up study and crack it if you can and grab it this gem.

Since I did my btech from materials so I have choosen to pursue mtech from here only since curriculum here is very well structured as my first semester is just completed so first what they did is like they summarise all Materials fundamentals topics of btech and next semester they are offering seminar course which we can choose from other departments also and finally year is of the project.

Placement here are good as our senior batch almost all students got placed two got placed in ola batteries, some made to tata and yaa all went to good companies. I am planning for the placements here .

There is one scheme there in IIT Bombay that is FAP(Financial aid programme) which is funded by alumni and the ones who are availing these scholarship after becoming successful they can help in giving this aid to other students. And since we are TA(Teaching Assistant) here so already we are paid 12,400 rupees per month for 22 month during our tenure.

This area is just good for roaming with friends as inside campus one can go to Sameer hills at morning for sunrise, boat house which is at the middle of the lake which is very good area for having fun with friends and also lots of canteens and good food spots. Now let's talk about outside things like Marine drive best spot for watching sunset and if you are smart and hansome so you can try for girlfriend can have great time here in marine drive, clubbing is the best part here just go enjoy in weekends and after exams.

The hostel which I alloted is one of the newest hostel and that is H-18 and food there is so yummy as compared to other hostel and even better among all other hostels. Registration process is shared over email but simply all things are not as much complicated but first just crack this college. That is single occupancy hostel but due to unavailability of hostels first year mtech have to stay there in double occupancy which is meant for single person which is fine very uncomfortable. They provide paneer bhurji and egg bhurji daily in breakfast with boiled egg and apart from that it is idli, dosa and other things and on lunch they give fish once a week for which you have to pay extra and also egg bhurji and omelette they give on pay basis daily. On dinner chicken they serve twice a week on paybasis and rest items are yaa seasonal.

First I want a good academics with a good campus and good night life which sort colleges to Iit bombay and Delhi but Delhi is very polluted and I was there for some time iit Delhi is very good no doubt but just because of pollution i didn't applied there. I applied only to IIT bombay and got selected. Though I was already an iitian so there is a provision that one can go for higher studies in IIT through admission with 8+ CGPA. Interview went very tough on the panel there were 4 professors there among 2 taught courses this semester.

Ration is like 1:18 which is quite good and relationship is totally depends on how student is approaching to professor and as far i interacted with my professors they are were very chill and cooperative and also very motivated in delivering their best knowledge to us. Pattern of exams are like one mid sem, one end-sem and 2 tests ratio is like 30:40:15:15 in general.

Best night life is there in Mumbai can go outside even at 11,12 or 1 at night and hangout with friends at lot of different good places like malls, game spots, bars and restaurants. Lots of cafeterias are there inside campus and fun part is that all provide food at very genuine rate and ya taste varies but on average food they provide is very tasty. And you won't believe you are going to love the library because it is so huge with lots of place to sit,study and chill, there are bean bags where you can sleep too in between you classes. Anyone can go outside the campus whenever they want. Localities near the Sameer hills are not safe at night because there are leopard which occasionally comes out for food though till now I think there is no casualties happened. But just avoid those areas.
