Vidya Pratishthan's Institute of Information Technology was established in the year 2000. The institute is affiliated to the University of Pune and is accredited with grade “A” by NAAC. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It offers with Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs. The institute is in extensive area of 30 acres and has state of art infrastructure and provided with best and modern amenities at its campus. The faculty of the institute is qualified and has relevant experience in the respective fields and imparts quality of education to the students.

The boy’s hostel can accommodate 200 students and girls’ hostel can accommodate 500 students. There are 67 rooms in boys hostel and 44 rooms girls hostel |

1. Industrial Visits- several industrial visits are organized by the institute for the students. Through these industrial visits students are exposed to various phases and aspects of an industry or organization. Students have visited to Garware Wallropes Ltd, ESIC, Walchandnagar Industries Ltd, Cotton King, Vasundhara Vahini (FM 90.4) in recent academic years.
2. Workshops – several workshops on subjects like hardware training, networking, SAP etc conducted at the institute in which students participated and were benefitted.
