Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is properly designned for the respective branches. There are many hand on things which give real world exposure of environmental science like labs,field visits,etc. The exams are on a bit frequent basis which results in stress.

Class Size: 44Course Fees: INR 210000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All the big companies come for internships in the third year for riles like finance, software, consult, etc and all the other fields. They also offer PPO after completing the internship if they feel so.

Placement Experience

From 7 semester students become eligible for csmpus placements. Highest package goes to 4 crores and average up till 23.5 lakhs. I would sit for placements after my degree. Placements percentage is almost 95 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is 105000 per semester so it sums up to 210000 a year. For SC,ST category there are no tution fees. And for the rest of the categories fees are same except the cases of scholarships. Here is merit cum need, named scholarship,etc

Campus Life

Mood Indigo, techfest, esummit, alumniation, etc are held during a year. Books are very much accessible. Fair technological provisions and extracurriculars offered. Clubs make a lot of difference in student life.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are nice and in a condition to live properly with respect to the quality and price. Meal depends on hostel to hostel. Also living conditions depends hostel to hostel. New hostels are in good coditions as comapred to old.

Hostel Fee: INR 26000 per year

Admission

Reason behind choosing IIT Bombay was it is the best college in India and i applied to this through JEE Advanced. And i was getting pretty much all the colleges. Overall admission experience was good authorities were helpful.

Faculty

Faculty student interactions are appreciable. We can go anytime to professor's office in case of any issues. There are 4 exams in a semester 2 quizzes,midsems and endsems and fairly difficult to pass.

Overall review of my college life in VIT Pune

Placement Experience:

The Training Placement Office Logins are given to us in the third year of the college where alot of companies gives opportunities to apply for the said job role or internship. Approximately 5 to 10 companies visits are there every month which increases as you enter your final year of college.

After 1st year student can openly apply for internship, theon campus internship is avaliable after 4th Sem. The highest amount goes to Quant Finance and more than 75% gets placed for in-campus. The highest pakacemet was INR 3cr for the Quant profile.

VIIT : Not like you expect

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit this college like Infosys, Calfus , Amazon , UBS, Crowdstrike. In case of no campus placements, one can try research internship offered by college.

My experience at VIT pune

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placement is after 2 year or at 5th semester. And companies that have visited are Morgan Stanley, TCS, JP Morgan, etc. and many others. Basic package is about 7 lacs per annum which I consider as okay for freshers. And the student which got highest is 26 lac per annum as he was one of the brightest student of the college. I think 50 to 60 percent students get placed more or less maximum are low package students. My plans are different than doing job so not applied at any of the job.

Mostly After 3rd Year Students Apply For Placements Here The Average Package Here Is Good But Percentage Placement On Campus Is Less...Maybe Because A Lot Students Get Off Campus Placements And Many Go For The Further Studies!!!

Students are eligible for placement from the third year itself for ppo and so. There are several companies visiting thakur around the year and there are a lot who get placement off campus too. I have heard a student from comps got into google at 72lpa. you can visit the tnp site for more detail.

Placement Experience:

placements are pretty decent here, especially for comp/it students. The average package here is around 12 to 14lakh, college provide on campus placements too, our placement cell is pretty hardworking. almost 97 to 99% of students get placed here.

Placement Experience:

All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.

Iit Bombay the dream college

I did applied for iit delhi also as it was my home town but got IIT Bombay as it was much better for me because of placements and brand value. IIT BOMBAY REVIEW

so i did fill for other college but yes iit bombay was my 1st preference so i got it and acc to my rank i was gettinng into iit bombay very easily but to be on safe side i added more option . so i have cleared jee advanced to get here . for mtech you have to pass gate . the admission iprocess is impler only its mostlyy digital.cutoffs of jee adv is obviously very high due to number of student who wnt to go in iit and number of studnet who get selected there is huge difference so dropper increases ....Read More
