Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum was good and gets changed every year most probably based on the review of the past batches or previous year students that this course content was useless for people of CSE and you may teach this course in the second year then they will catch better . Difficulty of the course was high u should take more help sessions and tutorials for the students

Internships Opportunities

4

Quadye - software developer - 4.5 lakh / month Microsoft - 1.25 lakh/month - software developer Google - 1.33lakh / month - SDE role Samsung - 1.5 lakh/month - SDE October Trading role - 18 lakh / month There are many companies to mention but these are ones I remembered as for now and there are other nice companies offering good stipend too...

Placement Experience

4

For placements in the 7,8 semesters students become eligible for campus placements where as for internship students are eligible in 5,6 semesters for getting experience how companies give work to employees and if they are impressed with your performance they can offer pre placement offers . Top many companies have visited like Quadye, Microsoft, Google, oracle, samsung, DTL...

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees - 2 Lakhs Hostel fees - 26 Thousand Others - 6 thousand Others include fees like Gymkhana facilities available like swimming pool and gym , badminton courts and volleyball courts and hospital fees and fees for sc and st tution fees gets refunded .

Campus Life

5

Coming to overall experience IIT life was memorable for many of the students as u can chill with your friends in festivals and hostel fests having fun ????. Technological provisions in classrooms like big screens to make visibility clearer for students at the back. There are many clubs where students can show their interest and can enjoy their moments . Sports are common like GC inter hostel leagues and inter IIT matches gets very intense and interesting

Hostel Facilities

3

Facilities are like bed and cot and requirements for freshing up during morning and coming to meal quality it was good in the morning breakfast and average lunch and dinner some can manage and some may go out for a dinner. Registration process will be discussed at the start of the 1st semester at IIT Bombay , and hostel rooms are not spacious which is the main problem .

Admission

This was the decision taken by parents after discussing with me and my interview faculty members and past year pass out batch students and most of the preferred IIT Bombay CSE over other branches and places.Based on the IIT jee mains and advanced they have picked this decision of going me to IIT Bombay CSE .

Faculty

3

Faculty student relationship is too low coming to IIT as compared to school or inter colleges Some of the professors are too interactive apart from course content and some professors are too specific and difficult to interact about project help related stuff. Coming to exams there is a divison of mid and end exams in the start to mid there may be a quiz and later between mid and end there may be other quiz

Night Life

4

Hang out spots like Gymkhana ground during late-night keeping chit-chat with friends playing mafia games and no particular hostel timings for entry and exit and famous places like aromas canteen inside and outside Taste of Hyderabad Andhra ka famous biryani.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes the curriculum is 50-50 where it is relevant as some point and it slightly turns irrelevant at some point but which is fine Some subjects like DSA and FDS are important and the fundamentals of computer stream But the m3 subject is just not needs according to me which makes it tough to understand so many subjects at some point We have 5 subjects per semester The curriculum helps to improve us in many ways where they teach us the relevant languages and makes us industry ready The improvement should be in the AI sector as it is the ongoing trend which might help everyone to improve their self The frequency of exams is ok if considered As the insem is around a month after the semester starts and the endsem is around 2 or 2.5 months after the insem That depends

Placement Experience:

The college has good placement offers and internships which helps students to get placed in good companies but sometimes they get less placement, the placement fro civil department has more numbers than any other department as the college owner is a builder , the college has higher placement jobs in it sector and technical sector too , the other non technical sector for placement are sales and marketing jobs which also offered in this college by the traning and placement team , the college has a department of training and placement.
