Course Curriculum Overview

3

Yes the curriculum is 50-50 where it is relevant as some point and it slightly turns irrelevant at some point but which is fine Some subjects like DSA and FDS are important and the fundamentals of computer stream But the m3 subject is just not needs according to me which makes it tough to understand so many subjects at some point We have 5 subjects per semester The curriculum helps to improve us in many ways where they teach us the relevant languages and makes us industry ready The improvement should be in the AI sector as it is the ongoing trend which might help everyone to improve their self The frequency of exams is ok if considered As the insem is around a month after the semester starts and the endsem is around 2 or 2.5 months after the insem That depends

Fees and Financial Aid

I have 75000 thousand fees per year Which means I'll have to pay 300000 in the time of 4 years of my degree The college fees will be constant once on enroll in the course But the fees keeps increasing for new students But once you enroll in the course the feels will be constant for you in the time period of your course. The fees structure of students depend on the caste category The obc category students have to pay the full fees and apply to the mahadbt scholarship and then the half fees paid is return to the student Where as the sc,st,ntc caste category have different fees structure My friend who is sc has to pay only 8000 thousand fees per year This college fees is less if compared to other colleges Which is better in terms of affordability This is major plus point of the college is compared to other colleges

Campus Life

4

The campus life is good the social life at college is good the infrastructure of the college can be improved The annual technical event held at college is technobash which lasts for 2 to 4 days which consists of many fun things such as games and technical games The books in the library have a wide range which is helpful to the student The library consists of the books regarding to the curriculum and other things that helps to develop a student their fundamental and knowledge regarding the respective subject The classrooms consists of projectors and digital screens and the labs of the college consists of many computers Sports are also held in the college The clubs in colleges are the rotary club and many others which help the students to improve their social life

Admission

I chose this college because I wasn't getting admission in any other colleges The cut-off of the college was considerably low I had 84 percentile and the college cutoff was 83 so I had to choose this college Actually I got admission in universal college of Mumbai but as it was in Mumbai and I live in Pune it was difficult to live there alone So I decided to apply in this college in my cap round and luckily I got this college This college accepts both jee and cet where the cutoff of the college keeps varying year to year Eligibility is you have to appear in cet exam and then apply for the cap rounds The admission process of the college is much easier as you have to submit all. The documents and then verify them with the college faculty once and then if you have been allotted this college your admission is been freezed and if you want to confirm your admission you can do that and once you confirm your admission, you are then admitted to the college with this process

Faculty

4

The college is faculty is enough for the curriculum of the studies They are well educated to teach the students For every 30 students there is one faculty The faculties are approachable and contactable and also are helpful when you need the help of someone College has pattern of insem and endsem Where insem is of 30 marks and endsem is of 70 marks where the credits of the subject varry from subject to subject Computer engineering courses consists of fundamental of the computer such has DSA,SE,OS etc which is good curriculum according to me The course curriculum is both relevant and a bit of irrelavent too But the curriculum depends on the university so it can't be helped by the college Every year consists of 2 semisters each semister has 1 insem and 1 endsem Most of the students pass in the exam and are easy to pass exams but some students do fail in the exam which totally depends on the student itself

Night Life

4

I am not that aware of the night life of the college as I stay far from the college But the surrounding of the college is great as the place to eat is outside the college where there are many options The college does not have an canteen but that's manageable due to the surroundings which has many options Hostel is only available for the girls and not for boys but the surroundings of the campus has options for pg and etc famous hangout spot for the students is the high street of balewadi The surroundings are safe at the campus as it's a developed area

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. I'm planning for higher degree (mtech)

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.
