Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is well designed and include all the industry needed topics in Be mechanical engineering that's why I selected this cource Curriculum is designed that much good that it prepares me for my exams and for further masters degree basics and needed topics Curriculum can be divided into much more parts as it's big some time to cover in time For insem exams you get 1 hour and for endsem exam you get 2 hours 30 min which is not sufficient to cover all paper according to me as exam is difficult

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is compulsory for every one in 5th semester Many big companies like TATA motors and Bajaj provide paid internship to students and many other big and local companies are available for internship with stipend If you are not doing internship you need to do a compulsary project

Placement Experience

5

From 6th semester you are eligible for campus placements Companies like Tata motors mahindra bosch siemens bajaj etc come to college for placements is our department Highest package offerd is 70 lakhs per annum which is in field of machine learning and student was from mechanical engineering itself Nearly 70 percent students get's placement here I will try to attend all placement activities and interviews in college and I'm planning to do masters in abroad

Fees and Financial Aid

I have paid 65230 rs per year fees in my college.Development fees is 13000 rs.Total fees at college is 1,30,000 but you can get caste category benefits.for OBC half fees is paid by government scholarship program named maha DBT.SC and NT category students pay only 13000 per year which is development fees and after filling government scholarship program they can get this 13000 back again.means if someone is from SC NT category they doesn't need to pay any college fees .for open category students if they have annual income less than 8 lakhs per annum they need to pay only half fees i.e. 65230 per year by getting EBC(Economical backward class) benefits

Admission

I also applied for PCCOE college of engineering in Akurdi pimpri Chinchwad. I opted only for 2 colleges one is my current college and one is PCCOE, I choose DY Patil college because it's placement rate is high and I got admitted here easily Yes I get rejection for PCCOE college as cutoff is high there and I didn't fulfilled there cut off levels Admission process at my college is very easy eligibility include you must be passed in 12th or diploma exam, jee and CET score is accepted here but students mainly prefer CET due to no negative marking My overall admission experience was great There are no group discussion rounds here

Faculty

5

Faculty to students ratio is 2:8 teachers and facilities have very transperancy and faculties are very understanding and always ready to solve doubta and guide us I personally like Dr Atul Patil sir because he is the best understanding teacher and always helps me and guides me mechanical department have best faculties because it's old branch and all faculties are very experienced There are total 4 exams in year 2 insem and 2 endsem after every 2 units there is insem exam and after four units there is endsem exam nearly 5% students fail as exam is quite hard Cource curriculum is good and cource and exams are designed by SPPU university Pune

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yes the curriculum is 50-50 where it is relevant as some point and it slightly turns irrelevant at some point but which is fine Some subjects like DSA and FDS are important and the fundamentals of computer stream But the m3 subject is just not needs according to me which makes it tough to understand so many subjects at some point We have 5 subjects per semester The curriculum helps to improve us in many ways where they teach us the relevant languages and makes us industry ready The improvement should be in the AI sector as it is the ongoing trend which might help everyone to improve their self The frequency of exams is ok if considered As the insem is around a month after the semester starts and the endsem is around 2 or 2.5 months after the insem That depends

Placement Experience:

The college has good placement offers and internships which helps students to get placed in good companies but sometimes they get less placement, the placement fro civil department has more numbers than any other department as the college owner is a builder , the college has higher placement jobs in it sector and technical sector too , the other non technical sector for placement are sales and marketing jobs which also offered in this college by the traning and placement team , the college has a department of training and placement.
