Course Curriculum Overview
Our course curriculum is based on New Education policy 2023 and it covers all computer fundametals, all subjects and concept.Student can opt for any domain and apply for oncampus placements in final year
Internships Opportunities
Internships are compulsary for every BTech student. Each student can apply for internship from 3rd year.Different campanies visit campus for oncampus internships such as NVdia,MDB Electrosoft etc These campanies provide stipend upto 25k. Students can also opt for offcampus internships.Project Making in final year is compulsary which is made in group of members.
Placement Experience
All BTech and MTech students can apply for offcampus placement if required but there sufficient oncampus placements and almost all students get placed.Companies visiting for computer and IT are tcs, infosys, capgemini, cognisant, Nvidia, IBM, etc Total 42 offers were made computer branch and 52 offers for IT branch. The percentage of placements is 80%.
Fees and Financial Aid
Govenment college of Engineering is a Autonomous college affiliated to Amravati university.The campus is spread over 100 plus acres.The fees female obc students is 43000 INR and for EWS it is 63000 and for SC/ST it is 80000. For general category it is 80000. GCOEA offers different state level and national level scholarships such as MahaDBT scholarship for OBC,EWS,EBC,SC,ST. NSP scholarship offers Pragati for female students and swayam scheme for PWD students

Admission
GCOEA college is the best college in the Amravati district, moreover it is a autonomous government college having deccent placements than other private colleges in the city. I got rejection from best colleges of Pune and Mumbai. The admission process is through CAP and spot round is also available. There are no management seats.
Faculty
A theory subject is of 100 marks out of which 60 is End semester exam,30 are for mid term and 10 are for term assesment. If it is a practical subject 25 marks are internal and 25 are external. There are 8 semesters and the faculty student ratio is 1:7 The teachers are cooperative and helpful.Each faculty have deep knowledge of their subject. Each year has one faculty coordinator. The end semester exams are medium and depends on student preparation. Results are declare within a month
Night Life
The college is open during morning 8 am to evening 8 pm There are different facilities available for hostellers such as garden,sports court ,gym which can be used by non hostel students also during college time. Canteen for all students is also available during college time The college is in the main city and market is close Rooms facility are aalso available for students who did not got hostel
