Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology, at Nanded (SGGS, in short) is an autonomous institute set up and entirely funded by the Government of Maharashtra.
- Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGGSIE&T), Nanded established in 1981 has grown to the level of being recognized as a leader in the area of technical education and research
- The SGGS Institute of Engineering and Technology is located over a campus of over 18.62 hectare, on land donated by Sant Baba Harnam Singh Langer Sahib Gurudwara trust and is named after the tenth Sikh guru Gobind Singh.

Library: SGGS Library is situated in a separate two storied block of 12400 Sq. ft. surrounded by lush green area. It began its existence in 1981. It has an ample stock of 55,396 books and 3959 bound volumes of National and International journals. 72 National and 59 International journals are subscribed currently which facilitates research in our institute.

I choose this college because it is government autonomous college and my college have really good placement I get admission through cet exam, the admission for college is very simple like your cet scorecard

- Wifi service overall the campus that don't stop the connectivity to the outer world
Admission:
This institute is far better than other ones cause of good curriculum and non curriculum activities that held over the academic year. The admission process is fully done on the basis of percentile score in MHTCET and admissions are done in Cap rounds.

- Hostel is alloted to all students of first year
- Mess food quality is not that good but is eatable

I applied for many colleges..I filled the college of pune but I didn't get them ...so I chose SGGS but I would say u should prefer pune colleges for many reasons... If you are getting pune colleges then chose them..

- College has many exciting clubs to join.
- College has Big and Eco-friendly Campus.
Dislikes
- Hostel is not provided to all the students.
- Entry and exit is prohibited after 9 pm.
Admission:
I applied for many Colleges through CAP process according to my meht cer score COEP, VIT, VJTI, Walchand Sangli, PICT Because of my low percentile I got SGGS Nanded is good college it comes in ranking after Walchand Sangli.

- The faculty is almost better and experienced the teaching method is more practical
- The infrastructure of college is good, the college provides various facilities like gymnasium, sports, robotics lab
Dislikes
- The outside campus is not so good, curriculum is not skills oriented
- College does not provide sufficient internship and placements
Admission:
The admission process is normal and fast but the college doesn't make allow to pay the fees in installments,this must be improve, the application fees and dates are available on the college official website, the college gives admission on the basis of marks in entrance exams like cet, jee and there is also a college's spot round and the reservation is available through the gurudwara quota

- In my college SGGSIE&T, Nanded I like the playground very much.In which there are many sport such as Cricket, Football, volleyball, Kabbadi
- Also I my college The natural beauty is very good. I like all the green trees and nature of my college.
Dislikes
- In my college the uniform is compulsory for all. This thing I don't like.
- In college there are many restrictions that you can not play on the ground after 8 pm

If anyone want to join my college then the person should passed the mhtcet exam. And Based on the marks of mhtcet person got admission in their respective department. Also if any one want direct admission in second year then the person must have to score good marks is polytechnic diploma.

- Timing of classes are not planned everyday
- Teachers sometimes doesnot get the problem

There was a Entrace exam named CET conducted by Maharastra board.one have to score above 95 percentile in this entrace to enroll in Btech in computer science and engineering in Shri guru gobind singhji instiute of engineering and techinology...CAP round was held through which colleges were alloted according to marks.

The JEE Mains cut-off for EWS category is 64.1 - 95.74 percentile.
Can I do M-tech hear after completing my B-tech?
Yes, you can do M.Tech. in SGGSIET Nanded after completing B.Tech. But you need to appear for GATE examination and pass it with valid scores for taking admission.
