Established in 1998, Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology is located in Nanded, Maharashtra. A NAAC-accredited institute, SGGSIE&T has also been accredited by the NBA, and was ranked the 89th best engineering college by NIRF. How to Apply for MHT- CET?
Candidates enrolling for B Tech course have to sit the MHT- CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:
- Fill out the online application form at DTE website.
- Upload scanned copies of necessary papers.
- A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
- Keep a print of the form for verification.

Candidates with a diploma in engineering with 45% marks can apply for admission to the second year of B.Tech in SGGSIE&T. Admission may be gained directly, without taking any entrance examination.

How to apply for GATE?
- Visit the official website: www.gate.iitd.ac.in
- Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number.
- After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
- Fill out the application form.
- A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
- Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.
DTE counselling:
- Visit the official website. Login through application ID and password.
- Fill your choice of courses and colleges. Save the document and submit it.
- The counselling will be done through a centralized admission process (CAP). CAP rounds will be conducted by computerized allotment.
- The allotment of seats will be based on options entered by the candidate, merit number and availability of seats.
- Applicants can login to check the seat allotment at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. They must report at admission reporting centres to confirm their seats.
SGGSIE&T Ph.D Admission 2024
For admission to PhD, a candidate has to have an M.Tech or M.Phil degree in the relevant field. In addition, they should have qualified the PET or the UGC-NET. The maximum age for applying is 35 years. Candidates should also have at least four years of working experience in the field.

This institute is far better than other ones cause of good curriculum and non curriculum activities that held over the academic year. The admission process is fully done on the basis of percentile score in MHTCET and admissions are done in Cap rounds.

I applied for many colleges..I filled the college of pune but I didn't get them ...so I chose SGGS but I would say u should prefer pune colleges for many reasons... If you are getting pune colleges then chose them..

I applied for many Colleges through CAP process according to my meht cer score COEP, VIT, VJTI, Walchand Sangli, PICT Because of my low percentile I got SGGS Nanded is good college it comes in ranking after Walchand Sangli.

- The infrastructure of college is good, the college provides various facilities like gymnasium, sports, robotics lab

- The outside campus is not so good, curriculum is not skills oriented
- College does not provide sufficient internship and placements

The admission process is normal and fast but the college doesn't make allow to pay the fees in installments,this must be improve, the application fees and dates are available on the college official website, the college gives admission on the basis of marks in entrance exams like cet, jee and there is also a college's spot round and the reservation is available through the gurudwara quota

If anyone want to join my college then the person should passed the mhtcet exam. And Based on the marks of mhtcet person got admission in their respective department. Also if any one want direct admission in second year then the person must have to score good marks is polytechnic diploma.
