• DTE Maharashtra carries out the counselling process for admission to various programs in the state of Maharashtra.
• To be eligible for admission to various colleges, candidates should have a valid score in a national-level entrance exam, preferably MHT CET.
• Through MHT CET score, candidates are eligible for the majority of colleges across the state, whereas national-level exams such as JEE Main give a limited choice of colleges in the counselling process.
• The majority of government colleges in Maharashtra accept MHT CET scores only for admission to B.Tech. programs, and the rest of colleges have 70% of their seats filled through scores of MHT CET.

How to apply for GATE?

• Visit the official website: GATE 2025
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID, and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• A fee of INR 1,400 (INR 900 for women and reserved categories) will be charged, which has to be paid online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

DTE counselling:

• Visit the official website. Login through application ID and password.
• Fill in your choice of courses and colleges. Save the document and submit it.
• The counselling will be done through a centralized admission process (CAP). CAP rounds will be conducted by computerized allotment.
• The allotment of seats will be based on options entered by the candidate, merit number, and availability of seats.
• Applicants can log in to check the seat allotment at www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in. They must report to the admission reporting centres to confirm their seats.

SGGSIE & T Nanded PhD Admission 2025

SGGSIE & T Nanded offers Ph.D. in 10 different specializations. Admission to Ph.D. programs is based on scores in SRT Marathwada University, Nanded, valid PET Score, or GATE scores, followed by an interview conducted by the respective departments. The final merit list will be released on the combined score of past academics, entrance exam scores, and interview.

SGGSIE & T Nanded PhD Eligibility Criteria-

1. Master’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent in the relevant area of research, along with a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology or equivalent with a first-class or equivalent Grade Point at Master’s and Bachelor's level
2. Students having SRT Marathwada University, Nanded, a valid PET Score, or a valid GATE Score
3. Industry and professional experience of minimum two years with qualifications as above shown in ‘1’ and ‘2’ can be considered.

SGGSIE & T Nanded PhD Selection Criteria-

• Eligible students will be shortlisted through a valid GATE Score and SRT Marathwada

University, Nanded PET- valid score and followed by interviews at the Departmental level.

• Candidates possessing the minimum educational qualifications and satisfying the eligibility criteria set by the departments will be called for an interview by the selection committee of the respective departments.
• Based on the academic record and performance of the candidates in the interview, the departmental selection committee will shortlist the names of candidates found suitable for admission to the Ph.D. program
