Sggs nanded- an insight to the college

There are more than 100 active clubs in our college so there are many things to do other than acedemics
Placements are increasing year by year and teachers are quite active with traning and placement officers and informs us on time and gives a lot of opportunities.
There is huge campus of 3-4 acres with a very well developed ground having all types of courts. Library is open all the time and is very large. Infrastructure of buildings and lab are well developed and are renovated time to time.

Dislikes

Sometimes faculty teaches in native language ao it can be a problem for outsider. This is needed for improvement and should be required for faculties to teach in english only.
The curriculum is quite good but includes non relevant subjects like drama, biology, yoga etc. So i think they should be removed
Some teachers do not teach that good so we cannot do much to change the teacher and be stuck with them throughout the semester.

Admission:

I applied for dy patil pimpri and vishwakarma pune. I got rejected from vishwakarma as I cannnot clear the cuttoff. I got accepted in dy patil but rejected it due to college's reputation and bad placements. Where my college had comparitively good placements and reputation of government college which helps in off campus placements. Admission process includes giving MHT-CET exam conducted by gov of Maharashtra. Eligibility is to be having Maharashtra domicile Or you parents must have maharashta domicile. Cutoff for my course this year was 92.8 percentile for general category. 91 for sebc. 89 for obc. 53 for sc. Admission process was quick dobe within 2 hours.

It culture and good air as my college has full of tress
My facilty was very great, they had good knowlegde
well equipped labs and learning resources were available

Dislikes

excessive focus on thoery than practical
lack of flexibility in course selection or specilization
overcrowding in mees , no proper arrangement

Admission:

The college has strong reputation for delivering quality education and producing industry-ready graduates, which played a significant role in my decision. The college location was convient to me, the fee structure was affordable , the college had a good track record of placements.

Dislikes

Mess food is like home but taste same in every dish
Physics lab most experiment are done virtually
Gym time for FY is in morning only so too hectic

Admission:

Collage has good reviews and when I saw the college personally it has good structures. Well to do subjects related to course and some fun subjects too. College is also concerned in sports side too. Regular events are also performed

Likes

College campus is very nice hostel and mess fees are affordable and mess food is very nice labs for students for studies are provided their are different different labs for working projects library is provided for required books . Department are nice
Their are different different departments for branches like cse it mechanical chemical instrumentation production textile civil electrical etc . activities are taken for students like sessions by professor guest lecturers also extra activities taken.
For their physical growth like sports activities, singing,dancing, technical activities like robowar hackathon etc their are different clubs for those activities for sports zenith music club avroh dancing club fsdc robotics club rnxg . Also festival

Dislikes

Fees structure are not affordable development fees is much more than tution and examination fees .

Admission:

I chose this college because it is government added and autonomous as well . Also i afford college fees . Campus Placement are good . This college is suggested by my elder brother so i chose this college .

Green Campus that keeps the students energetic and enthusiastic
Wifi service overall the campus that don't stop the connectivity to the outer world
Good academic curriculum that is not kind of burden for the students

Admission:

This institute is far better than other ones cause of good curriculum and non curriculum activities that held over the academic year. The admission process is fully done on the basis of percentile score in MHTCET and admissions are done in Cap rounds.

My college experience

Likes

there are many aspects of college that i appreciated the beaviour of seniors is very good and teachers are supportive also and things needed to improve is they can increase no of hostels and i wish they could add badminton court and swiming pool also
campus life is pretty much good here and there are supportive seniors to help you anytime hostels are good there are many clubs in college which participate in arious colleges
teachers are very supportive and strict also and 75 percent attendance is compulsory in college and college timetable is strictly followed

Dislikes

there is no swimming pool in college and no badminton court is provided
auditorium is very old and facilities are less in auditorium .... ..

Admission:

i have applied for all the government and private institutions like veermata jijabai college of engineering and college of engineering pune and viswkarma institute of tehnology and sardar patel college of engineering and walchand collge of engineering and technology and for my college shri guru gobind singhji college of engineering and technology io got electronics and telecommunication branch in sggs nanded the main reason is the i wanted a government institution and this is a government college and placement opportunity are very good from this college and there are many clubs i this college which participate on national level competitions

Sports facilities are really very good here
College fee is less which is affordable..
Infrastructure is eco friendly and campus is also good

Hostel is alloted to all students of first year
Mess food quality is not that good but is eatable
Management is not that good..and some teachers too.

I applied for many colleges..I filled the college of pune but I didn't get them ...so I chose SGGS but I would say u should prefer pune colleges for many reasons... If you are getting pune colleges then chose them..

All festival are celebrated with full of joy.

Dislikes

Hostel is not provided to all the students.
Entry and exit is prohibited after 9 pm.
There is not separate department building for Mechanical Department students

Likes

The faculty is almost better and experienced the teaching method is more practical
The infrastructure of college is good, the college provides various facilities like gymnasium, sports, robotics lab

Dislikes

The outside campus is not so good, curriculum is not skills oriented
College does not provide sufficient internship and placements

Admission:

The admission process is normal and fast but the college doesn't make allow to pay the fees in installments,this must be improve, the application fees and dates are available on the college official website, the college gives admission on the basis of marks in entrance exams like cet, jee and there is also a college's spot round and the reservation is available through the gurudwara quota
