Government College of Engineering, Amravati was established in 1964 by the Government of Maharashtra. The college offers B.Tech at the UG level and M.Tech at the PG level. Not only this, the institute also offers PhD programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and ECE. GCOEA was ranked 45 in Outlook India’s Top Engineering Colleges of 2012 and 68 in Dataquest’s Top Engineering Colleges in India of 2011. It was also ranked 5th in the list of top engineering colleges situated in the Western side of India excluding all IITs.The ranking of the DQ 2012 shows a steep jump to 35.

I took admission on mhtcet examination score. That time cutoff for electronic and telecommunication branch was above 90% for OBC students. The date of the application depends on the in which round you applied to college. There was three rounds for us.

One should secure good rank is MHT CET to get admission. I had 92.5 percentile. For reserved categories, lesser ranks may also get you admission. The admission process was smooth. The entrance exam is MHT CET.

Cet cutoff was around 92 percentile, it changes every year. You should have pcm in 12th or general, what is important is pcm cet score. Reservation benefits are there. You can get every detail online. You can apply through cap rounds once you fit into the cut off range you will get the college. For admission you have toh ho to college, submit documents, pay fees and you admission is confirmed.
