Dislikes
- Ground is not clear throughout the year because of rainy season there is huge grass which is not maintained for whole year but when KCT comes the whole ground is cleared
- Faculties are experienced but they are not that much helping in nature as autonomous college you have to maintain a good relationship between a faculty and yourself
- Timing of library is not sufficient for students. Library is not available for 24 by 7. Also in hostel there is a water supply issue and many issues in maintaining electricity connection
Course Curriculum Overview
Our curriculum includes various things from developing your language developing your communication skills also modern India languages are included in our syllabus so that curriculum is well designed according to the national education policy 2022. We have to perform projects in third year and 4th year also in 4th year we have to complete a internship to get a degree we have to perform lab experiments which are related to our syllabus and we understand according to the performed experiments that how we can apply our knowledge in a real world. The exams are not that much frequent but we are always increased with our academics as there are three exams for a semester for every subject which includes CT 1 , CT 2 and end semester examination. Exams are the not that much hard but we have to prepare accordingly as every student have there own skills in there subjects but not in all subjects so far some reason you have to be consistant about your studies.
Placement Experience
In 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement if they have all clear in exams the companies visited in our college are TCS Johnson's Reliance etc. TCS gives average package and Johnson's is a highest package offering company for electrical engineering students the percentage of students getting placed is about 40 to 50% in campus if you don't get placed in campus then you have to go for placement out of the campus. I found that many more students get more package in out of the campus placement for there is no need to get worry about placement. My plan for getting a degree is to get test in a good company or to qualify get exam and do m take from IIT so that I will get very much high package then I am getting now

If you don't get how still don't worry about anything you can rent a room nearby a college. There are various rooms available nearby college which arrange from 1700 to 2000 rupees per month. There are no issues for clashes between students at hostel so this is a very safe place to live in a campus
Admission
When I applied for other colleges I found that they are not autonomous. I had two options one wall Government College of engineering Aurangabad and second one is Government College of engineering Amravati so in between these to colleges I chose gcoe Amravati. As this college is nearby from my hometown and it is a autonomous college fees was about same in between those to college so I choose this according to my comfort. For admission in our college you have to perform well in your mhtcet exam here admissions are done on the basis of MHTCET percentile. The cutoff is about 85 to 90% varying according to a category. Admission procedure is very hectic has you have to carry so much documents and roam around the college from one desk to another for completion of admission
Faculty
As a engineer we have semester based curriculum in every semester there are about 5,6 or 7 subjects we have about two three or four credits for each subject on calculating all of them we have to clear some criteria to go further in studies as a college is autonomous behave to maintain relations video faculty and our facilities very experience but sometime students hesitate to reach out them for help because of their nature. For every semester there is a CT1 exam of 15 marks CT2 exam of 15 marks and end semester exam of 60 marks also 10 marks of teachers assessment total of 100 marks for every subject. We have to score at least 40 marks to clear subject. Marks distribution does not includes step marking you have to write a correct final answer to get marks if your final answer is wrong you don't get any step marking.
