What Students Say
Likes
- The infrastructure of the building was fantastic. I liked it the most. The cleanliness in the college is well maintained, and the laboratories and classrooms are neat and clean.
- The faculties in the first-year engineering department are highly qualified. I am impressed by their soft skills, such as communication skills, and the way they approach students is very good. I like their teaching methods the most because they cover
- The college is known for a high placement ratio. Almost 90% of students get placed till their fourth year.
Dislikes
- The weirdest thing about this college is that the campus does not provide any well-developed playgrounds to develop outdoor game skills, and the parking facility for students is also not good.
- Massive construction work is going on in this college, which creates a lot of disturbance in classrooms. Also the building is very tall, which causes a lack of time to travel from the ground floor to the top floor as lifts are not always available.
- There is a massive crowd of students due to the over-intake in branches like Computer Science Engineering and related branches,as compared to their ratio campus is not big .
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose to learn Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering in 2025 because I have a good foundation in coding and I am familiar with computer networks. The curriculum does not teach or prepare us sufficiently for technical skills; we have to acquire these skills ourselves from external sources. One thing that needs improvement in the college is focusing more on providing technical skills instead of only theoretical knowledge. The examinations conducted twice a year are good, and the difficulty level is moderate, which is suitable for average and weaker students, allowing them to pass easily and score good grades.
Placement Experience
The placements offered by my college are outstanding compared to other colleges in my area. Almost all students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Big tech companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and IBM visit the campus for recruitment. Major tech companies such as TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini hire in bulk from this college. Other non-tech companies like JCB, Tata Hitachi, and railway companies also visit the campus for core branches. Approximately 90% of students get placed in this college according to their skills. My plan after completing my degree is to get a job in a top company like Google, Microsoft, IBM, or NVIDIA and settle abroad with a luxurious life permanently.
Fees and Financial Aid
Hi, my name is Rahul. This review is about explaining the detailed fee structure. The fee structure is as follows: Total fees: Rs. 127,000 It consists of (Tuition fees + Development fees) Tuition fees = 110,500 Development fees = 16,500 The fees remain constant till completion of the degree. Some extra fees 1. Art of Living programme fees = 500 2. Eligibility fees = 1,650 There is a special Maharashtra government scholarship, or we can say a reservation discount, for reserved categories as well as the Open category. Fees according to category 1. OPEN / OBC / SEBC / EWS = 72,718 2. Remaining all categories + girl candidates = 16,500 NOTE: 1. For this discount, the student should be a domicile of Maharashtra. 2. The income limit should be less than or equal to 8,00,000.
Campus Life
There are many technical and non-technical clubs in the college that improve the core and technical skills of students. Some cultural skills are also developed through these clubs. Many functions, such as Ganesh Chaturthi and other festivals, are celebrated in this college with great joy and enthusiasm. The library in the college is fantastic and well developed. It provides thousands of books that help increase our knowledge. One thing lacking in the college is that it does not provide any type of gym for physical activities. The classrooms are well developed, and most of them are digitalized with projectors and computers. The clubs also provide a passport club. In my personal opinion, social clubs and other activities do not have any negative impact on students academic life.
Admission
According to my percentile, this college was perfectly suitable for me because it provides good placements compared to other colleges within the same percentile range. The average percentage required to take admission in this college is between 80 and 95, which matched my score. I also applied to better colleges compared to this one, such as PICT and VJTI. I submitted this college in my preference list and got admitted here, while I was rejected by colleges like VJTI, PCCOE, and COEP due to my low percentage. To get admitted to this college, one must appear for entrance exams like MHT-CET or JEE Main. Selection is based on recent entrance exam scores. To get admission into top branches like CS and IT, the minimum score should be around 94–95 percentile in MHT-CET, and approximately 93–94 percentile in JEE Main.
Faculty
The college provides many courses in engineering fields such as Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Automation, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Instrumentation Engineering. The main exams are conducted twice a year by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). At the college level, unit tests and preliminary examinations are conducted before the SPPU university exams at a college level. According to the 2024 pattern, the theory exam is of 70 marks, and 30 marks are for practicals, term work, and other components. Thus, the total is 100 marks. In my first-year engineering department, the faculty member I like the most is my Graphics teacher, Anand Kurade Sir. He always motivates students, his way of teaching graphics is outstanding, and he approaches students like a friend, not like a teacher. By my personal opinion all faculties are good.
Night Life
The late night activities is not allowed in the college like cafeteria and library are closed before 11 p.m. The most famous hangout places in the college is cafeteria and parking area of the college which is on the street of college overall experience of my college is very good I have not suffered any type of difficult is since I have admitted in this college.
