Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose Priyadarshini College of Engineering largely due to its established reputation in Nagpur and the massive 72-acre campus infrastructure, which stands out compared to other colleges in the region. The curriculum is affiliated with RTMNU (Nagpur University), which gave me the assurance of a recognized degree

Fees and Financial Aid

If you are reserved category you like OBC you apply for mahadbt scholarship so there is a 50 percent fees is deducted from your college fees structure soif you are open category student you apply for ebc scholarship from mahadbt portal then also 50 percent fees is deducted from college fees structure

Campus Life

4

Ashwamedh is the highlight of the year, known for its massive student participation, celebrity guests, and the "Traditional Day" vibe. The technical fests are also competitive, often drawing participants from other colleges for paper presentations and robotics

Admission

I chose Priyadarshini College of Engineering primarily for its infrastructure and campus life. The campus is one of the largest in Nagpur (Digdoh Hills/CRPF area), which felt more like a proper university environment compared to the smaller campuses of Raisoni or Pallotti The fees are slightly more affordable compared to YCCE and RCOEM, and the placement opportunities for Computer Science/IT/CT branches are comparable to other Tier-2 colleges in the city if you have the skills

Faculty

4

I like most of my college faculty they are very good in teaching The faculty-to-student ratio is generally considered adequate, hovering around 1:20 to 1:25 in most departments. While some general First Year classes can be large the ratio improves significantly in specialized labs and higher semesters Many senior professors hold PhDs and have research experience which students appreciate during project work

Night Life

4

The Central Library is well-stocked and usually open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday-Saturday). During exam season, they often extend timings (up to 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM). It remains closed on Sundays and sometimes on the 2nd/4th Saturdays. Cafeteria: The main college canteen operates during college hours (roughly 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM). It gets very crowded during the lunch break (2:30 PM - 3:00 PM).

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, L&T, and a few startups visit the campus every year for technical and support roles. The average package is around 3–4 LPA, while the highest package for top performers goes up to around 8–10 LPA (varies by year and company). Around 60–70% of students get placed through campus drives, and others go for off-campus opportunities. The placement cell provides basic training and aptitude preparation, but students need to work on DSA, projects, and skills on their own. After completing my degree, I plan to either secure a good software role or pursue higher studies while continuing to upskill through internships and certifications

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for placements from the 6th semester, but they have to complete the whole 8 semester to start working. Companies like L&T, HCC, J Kumar, TATA Projects are our major recruiters, many MNCs and other top company like to hire from NICMAR. The college has genuine 100% placement, the students who generally do not get placed are ones who have family business or startups. After completing the degree and mostly interested in a job for the 1 to 2 years to gain some experience. Then I may consider options like higher studies or a business.
