Good Infrastructure, Good Placements, but decent Factulty and curriculum

The mechanical engineering is tye field in which we play with the machine, we understand the working of machines their structures which makes me more fascinating. The curriculum I'm studying in my college is completely theory bases and that good when it comes to industry requirements.There's not much of a practical knowledge. Also the course is quite difficult

The college do allow for internship at the end of your 5th sem in the 3rd year. You'll be allowed to do the internship for 1-2 months. College do provide some internships from their side. But I would suggest you to try to get internship from your en rather than depending on the college.

The placements in our college are quite good for Software fields but for core I guess it's not that great as per expectations. The average package is about 4.5-6 LPA. We have a highest package of 70 LPA which is obviously off-campus and in the field of AIML. Every year nearly 80-90% students get placed.

The actual fees of my course are 1,17,000 rs. But since our college is under Savitribai Phule Pune University it follows the rules and regulations of Pune University and AICTE. Also our our university provides MahaDBT scholarship by Maharashtra Government and since I'm a OBC student I need to pay only 65,230 rs per yearly fees. The leftover money gets covered through Scholarship

The campus is quite small in size. And there's three colleges in just one campus. Engineering, Pharmacy and MBA too. The college do have a good no of Clubs to test and build your skills. Also our college don't have much of sports facilities but still it's good when it comes to sports and other compitions

I choose this college because it is one of good college in Pune also some of my siblings have done their graduation from this college only. Ya I've applied for other colleges like LPU, Somaiya, etc. Even though these colleges do have a good placements but also they have high fees that I can't pay so I choose this college.

The decent Factulty to students ratio nearly 1 teacher behind every 25-30 students. Some faculties are really good but some faculties are just like a puppet of the management of college. Even some faculties don't have required knowledge for the subject. There are total of 8 semisters. Every semister has 1 In-sem and 1 End-sem exam. And I guess it's quite easy to score passing marks in your 1st attempt

After 10:30pm it's prohibited for anyone to enter into college campus and also you can't stay in the campus after 12 am. So ya college do not have any nightlife. Also the college comes in Red Zone area. Means the area around the college is also not safe and have high crime rate.
