Since becoming autonomous in 2018, the college offers degrees from DPU, with admissions through CAP rounds based on JEE Mains and MHT-CET exams, direct second-year entries for diploma holders, and a management quota. The annual fee for General Category students is around Rs. 88,000, with waivers and reductions for SC/ST and OBC students, and various scholarships available. The Mechanical department has strong faculty support with a 1:20 student-to-faculty ratio. Exams are moderately challenging, and about 85% pass on the first attempt.
Placements are strong in Computer Science with a 100% rate, but Mechanical Engineering struggles with only 10% securing core jobs. The highest package offered is 70 LPA, with an average of 4-10 LPA. Major companies like Infosys and Amazon participate in placements. While internships are often mandatory, they usually offer stipends below Rs. 15,000. Campus life is supportive, and fee hikes are infrequent. The college facilitates government scholarships but does not offer its own, and provides educational loans and a Learn and Earn scheme for financial assistance.
