The campus infrastructure is quite good compared to some well established colleges in the city.
The campus is always buzzing with fests and events making a very dynamic atmosphere for students
The emphasis on research and development is great to have.

Dislikes

Going to classes is only beneficial if you take it as a revision lecture and not a fresh start

I had applied to many colleges in the city but due to the high cut off i got selected here. But getting into this college was not any way lesser. First of all it has great connectivity and public transport all around. The admission process is quite easy here if you are eligible. The cutoff has been 96-97 percentile since two years for computer engineering. But once the eligibility criteria is surpassed the further process dine is quite easy.

I like the ambience of the college. The college is full of greenery.
The classrooms are very well maintained with projectors installed in each class.
I also like the friendly environment that the college has among all.

Dislikes

I think there is not enough coordination among the students and the staff members.
Also the benches are not that comfortable to sit for long durations.

I did apply to the govenment colleges but because i didn't had enough marks to qualify for the colleges, i didn't get admission in those colleges. This college was among top 3 colleges in my list. I choose this college because i read the reviews from google and other sites and the reviews were matvhing to the expectations i had in my mind. i did get rejection in the government college because my marks weren't above 90% in the diploma. The admission process for the diploma students is that you need to have good marks in diploma and if you did 12th then there is one exam you need to give for the admission.

Likes

Faculties are vey good and well experienced and always ready to solve our doubt's
Placement rate is very high and college have it's own placement cell always conducting different activity's
Classroom's are well equipped with modern amenities like smart board and AC

Dislikes

Parking must be improved as it's avaliable for teachers but students needs to park their vehicles outside college
College dont have it's own play ground we use ground nearby for sport's
The connecting road from main road to college is always dirty on footpath college can look into this on it's own

Admission:

I choose this college because of it's high placement rate and experienced faculty,college is well reputed.I also tried for COEP government college pune but I get rejection from there because of it's very high cut off so after COEP DYPIT was best for me,admission process at my college is very easy as there are no GD rounds you just need to fit in cut off,MHT CET and JEE scores are accepted here and students mainly prefer CET because of no negative marking

Likes

They training and placement cell of the college is great.
Their are various events and clubs available at the college
The college has great infrastructure and new technology.

Dislikes

The college campus is very small and compact.
The college is very strict towards attendance l.
The staff can be good but they can also be bad

Admission:

I chose this college solely because of the placement it offers . The campus is great but it lacks the outdoor campus like playgrounds and various sports grounds. Other colleges which i considered was skncoe mit alandi

Likes

Active clubs in all the departments. All the clubs do events and are very active. There are both core departmental clubs and cultural club which will provide you with great team and will help you grow in a good environment. Overall join some clubs.
Technical clubs like, all the mechanical clubs for automobile development and all the coding clubs like gdg and entc coding club
Campus has a great infrastructure, although some parts are still under construction , it has underground parkings also

Dislikes

Attendance is very strict, 75 percent attendance is required
Lots of assignment and tutorial work with limited time submission
Half of college crowd is not good, non-serious students

Admission:

So the first reason was its placements, better placement in compare to most of the colleges in pune. Various students are placed in above 10 lpa package. Second reason would be its location as its is situated pimpri and most of the other college are situated in not so well developed areas

My college all information

Likes

For electronics and electrical the gender ratio is very good 3:4 and for cs and civil it is less 1:2
Every-year there are many events cultural, sports and many more
Their is good coding culture and hardworking students

Dislikes

Campus is very very small , no place to sit and do timepass in Campus
College don't allow you to do offline internship for them attendance is most important, if you take full marks also and your attendance is low they don't allow that , for them maintaining attendance is supreme
For EnTC students teachers don't allow you to do (only software) projects for mini projects

Admission:

I got selected here by maharashtra cap round process, i choose this college over other because the placement statistics is much higher than other colleges . The admission process is simple apply for maharashtra cap round and put the colleges list in that, if you have enough percentile to get here then you will get the chance to take admission in this college. In 2022 i got admission in EnTC at 90%tile and now in 2024 the cutoff increases to 95%tile . This cut off is for general and non-home university students ( MHTCET )

The college campus is very nice and beautiful
Our Faculty is best for teaching and for giving knowledge and very encourage
college library is very nice,while sitting in library the study is silently done

Dislikes

only the thing is the practicals are not getting

Admission:

I choose this college becuase when i was finding the informations of new new colleges.So in information i heard this college name and i asked my friends that how is this college.So they told the college is very good for placement rates and faculty is also very good . As compared to other colleges i didn't like other college i like my college.When i came for admission the staff was helpful and the college was clean ,and the process of admission was also good.

Placement offers are high paying and college have interaction with many big companies in field, they also provide great training and placement activities like mock orals and alumni meet
College have all the modern amenities and services, all classroom are equipped with smart boards and all needed project apparatus are available
Infrastructure is good,there are many labs and rooms in college dedicated to seperate departments

Dislikes

Parking can be improved as college have it's own parking but it's not sufficient sometime we need to park our vehicles outside
College don't have it's own dedicated ground in campus we need to use HA ground nearby for events and soprts
College have network issues in lower flours Like mobile phone's can't work there without wifi

Admission:

I also applied for PCCOE college of engineering in Akurdi pimpri Chinchwad. I opted only for 2 colleges one is my current college and one is PCCOE, I choose DY Patil college because it's placement rate is high and I got admitted here easily Yes I get rejection for PCCOE college as cutoff is high there and I didn't fulfilled there cut off levels Admission process at my college is very easy eligibility include you must be passed in 12th or diploma exam, jee and CET score is accepted here but students mainly prefer CET due to no negative marking My overall admission experience was great There are no group discussion rounds here
